I've owned atleast 6 VW's over the years and I purchased a new 2009 GTI from Dwight Harrison last summer. I took the vehicle in for 20k service and they said everything was perfect on the car. I go to another shop to buy some new tires a week later and they noticed one of the rear calipers had an issue and was eating up brake pads unevenly as other side was perfect. I had them replace the pads and I went back to Dwight for a caliper replacement under warranty. They refused saying there is nothing wrong even though you can plainly see the damage to the pads. I am taking my vehicle to another local VW dealer as they immediately understood the problem and are going to fix the issue.\r \r I can't believe on something dealing with the safety of your customers you are willing to cut corners to save a buck! more

Have taken my car here several times over the last couple of years (when not able to use my local mechanic) -- never a problem, always reasonable prices for a dealer. Had a body kit ordered/painted/installed this past summer while having some recall work performed; Joseph (in the Parts Dept.) found the parts I needed (at a time when they were increasingly difficult to find) and worked with me to get a great deal on installation/painting that just could not be beat anywhere in the SE -- They did an outstanding job! I've had some jacked up experiences with various dealers over the years, so I'm very careful about where I go for service. I have to drive from the Buford, GA area to get there, but whenever I do have to use a dealer for VW parts/service, Dwight Harrison is the place to go in the Metro ATL. more

I came here to pick up a part that no other local dealership had. The staff was very friendly and the dealership was very nice inside. I would come here more often, but the location isn't very convenient. more

They sold me a certified pre-owned car with at least a DOZEN problems. I drove hundreds of miles back and forth to get things fixed, and they usually didn't have the parts in, so I had to go back and forth back several times. They were always off regarding their service time estimates, whatever they tell you DOUBLE it, at least! Each time I returned for repairs, I expressed my concern regarding my CPO car having so many problems out of the gate, as it was supposed to have undergone a very detailed inspection. They ignored me and never apologized for my troubles or time they wasted. I even spoke with Mr. Dwight Harrison and his son IN PERSON. They could not explain why my CPO car had so many problems when I purchased it, they were very arrogant and just tried to make my concerns sound worthless. I found out later that it was THEIR dealership's responsibility to ensure that my car was up to date with everything. I asked them to pay for a thorough inspection at another dealership to ensure that my car was up to CPO standards and they flat out refused. I spoke with VW of North America and they basically told me that there was nothing they could do to remedy the situation because this dealership was independently owned. When my husband called and spoke with the son, HE HUNG UP ON MY HUSBAND! Talk about horrible customer service. I will never set foot on their lot ever again, even if someone pays me to. I had an awful experience with the service department. A problem on my car was not detected, after multiple visits and concerns. The problem escalated and not only caused me to be stranded on a highway, it also left me without transportation for 4 days (service dept did not provide a loaner vehicle) and a loss of a lot of money $$$$. The repair labor totaled twice the amount of the new engine part cost. more
