Buyer Beware! Made a $4900.00 purchase at this company and when ask to come out to take a look at a rough, darkening, disappointing seam, that is staining on only one side of it, and also some rough spots in other places of the granite I was told I would be charged $125.00 to do so. They refuse to come out. I did not think this was an unreasonable request but was told by the office manager she can not afford to send someone out to stare at my counter and tell me they did nothing wrong even tho their own fabrication manager said someone needs to come out and look at it after seeing pictures. Very disappionted more

I agree with Joan. There are many local companies with the same selection who have been in business longer. They all sell the same granite, marble, quartz... it's not like Stone Master's are making it. Service is key and this is where this companies fails. Owners are miserable, read all the bad reviews and you will find a common story (bad service is their reputation). My advice, stay away. Other companies will match or beat their price and you get better service. Several of their good reviews seem fake, like the ""customer"" is trying too hard to sell the company. more

Excellent selection and beautiful high end granite for my huge island and countertops. Cabinet staff and all granite related employees I worked with were knowledgable, professional and could not do enough. However, the owner exhibits rude, arrogant non-customer friendly behavior and my only regret is that I gave his business alot of money. He needs to stay away from customers and let his employees provide the excellent service that they do as he is a detriment. My heart goes out to his employees..... more

Stone Masters did such a magnificent job on our granite counter tops! They are absolutely beautiful. They pay special attention to detail and the insttallers John and Chris were very knowledgable as were the template maker and the person who designed the layout. They did a beautiful and neat job. Professional from start to finish. I search many granite sites in person. Stone Masters Inc. had a large clean indoor showroom. their state of the art equipment and the professional staff did not affect the pricing of their stone. I got my granite at a great price, my quote was clearly written and the installers were professional and thorough. The team was also very patient with my requests. My seams were perfect. To read about my experience, I also reviewed Stone Masters Inc on Angies list. Hands Down.. Best Value for Granite 10/30/2010

I shopped for granite hard. We had a tight budget and I spent hours on the internet researching many companies. We actually went to four different places looking for the best value and finally found it at Stone Masters. They had lots of stone to choose from. They also had lots of sinks and faucets and back splash tiles on display. \r \r Dave made a template with this really cool machine and 1 week later the installers came and did a great job. Two days later the tile guy came did our back splash. Great value, fantastic work, nice people and fast. Their dog is cool and the price was right! \r \r I am so proud of my new kitchen that we are going to have Thanksgiving at our house this year! more

These are the granite guys to use. 10/30/2010

Dave the template guy made a template with this really sophisticated machine then 1 week later their installers came and did a great job. Two days after that the tile guy came did our back splash. It was all a great value. They did fantastic work, were all nice people and it was fast. Their dog is cool and the price was right too! I am so proud of my new kitchen. Now we are going to have Thanksgiving at our house this year! more

Unreliable 8/2/2010

I was very pleased with my initial interactions with StoneMaster's - other than almost going into their office (an hour away from me) on Memorial day since they did not post that they were closed. I signed a VERY LONG and LIMITING contract the first day I want in for granite counters for my kitchen. I was Okay with the lengthy contract because I assumed that meant I was in a solid contract. I was very wrong. Later I found out that they were Scheduled to go on a week-long vacation while I was planning to be templated (I had told them this week from the 2nd e-mail with them). When I called to inquire (feeling lost and bumped back several weeks on schedule) they acted offended and accused me of telling them to not go on vacation. Mind you part of the contract says that YOU, the BUYER, cannot go on vacation during the time period, yet they apparently can shut down their whole operation and not notify you. Nearly perfect experience 5/5/2010

For everything that matters Stone Masters is fantastic, I have recommended them to several friends in the short few months since my install. The install was very smooth, the stone looks beautiful, and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Every positive review you read is absolutely justified.\r The only hiccup was paperwork. It took several attempts to get my final estimate by e-mail, and when I needed a replacement receipt (the installers gave me one that belonged to another customer) it took several tries. Of course they had e-mail problems on the day(s) when I was trying to get my final estimate and contract, and of course the replacement receipt was lost in the mail, but it does become a bit tiresome.\r I don't think these things are something to make a big deal about, but it deserves to be noted. more

Stone Masters Inc is a GREAT!!! 12/18/2009

Stone Masters is an excellent company! From the visit to their building with my daughter where we received a wonderful tour of your facilities (and greeting by Jack) to phone conversations with Barbara about appointments, I have been so impressed. My good experiences continued when David came to make the template for the countertops. He was patient as we made a few changes and from the end result his work was "spot on." Yesterday, when the men came to install my countertops they couldn't have been any nicer or more professional. Their work was clean and the counters just look amazing! They did a wonderful job! My kitchen has never looked better. I have been reccommending their company and will continue to do so in the future. more

Stone Masters Inc is PERFECT 11/17/2009

This company is nothing short of perfect. I went to a couple of other granite companies and left feeling more confused then when I started. Stone Masters has a warm friendly feeling, and everything is set up so that you understand how the process works. I worked with Tracy, who was able to explain the process from begining to end. You get to view work in progress if you go during the week, which other places keep hidden. I actually decided to get a vanity done at the same time, with a beautiful remenet. What a bonus!! The selection is incredible, I suggest to anyone looking..go there!! more

Stone Masters Inc is not worth it 7/5/2009

I've actually never had any work done with Stone Masters Inc but that is exactly why I am writing this review. I went into their showroom one day to get an estimate using some of their remnants. I felt a little rushed when looking at their selection and it seemed like I could only have 1 type of granite priced when I asked about pricing others I was given evasive answers. The saleswoman told me she would have the estimates to me by the next day in my email. Of course they weren't there until I emailed about them a few days later. In which case they immediately replied with the estimate. When I sent more measurements to perhaps redo my entire kitchen and also pricing for a new kind of granite the only reply I received was that for the type of granite I inquired about, I must have at least 40 sq ft which is typical but they still wouldn't give me a price per sq ft on any of their products in case I could adjust my job to accommodate their minimum.
