Great product. Process could have been easier 9/15/2014

We ordered new counter tops from Stone City for our kitchen and bathrooms, and although the finished product looks great, I wish the process could have been easier. We had a contractor that was installing the counters and he was supposed to be handling everything with Stone City, but Stone City continued to call us rather than the contractor. Consequently, there were numerous miscommunications which slowed things down and we had to continually change the work schedule. Also, we wanted them to save the inserts from the cutouts, but they didn't honor that request. But nevertheless, the work was great and we are very happy with how it all turned out. more

Good experience 9/10/2014

Stone City had a decent selection of stone slabs to look at. I wouldn't say there was an abundance though. But this made it easier for me to chose, I wasn't overwhelmed. They were very courteous and friendly. more

Great work 9/4/2014

I have had my kitchen, bathroom countertops done by StoneCity. I am very impressed with the quality of work, material and their service. They discussed all possible options to fit within my budget and got the job done absolutely within the budget. They showed up on time, got the job done and cleaned up the site very well. They were very knowledgeable and addressed my questions/concerns upto my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend StoneCity to my friends and family. more

Overall, our experience with Stone City was great. We had to wait for the install crew a hour or so long than scheduled as they had an emergency issue. The installation of our Granite counter-tops went along just fine. It took them only 7 hours to get everything done. Once on site they functioned like a well oiled machined. Their team leader Victor did a great job pulling everyone together during the installation and by the end of the day, it was all in and looking great. They cleaned up all of the mess and left us with a wonderful looking new kitchen. I would definitely use them again. more

Stay Away 11/16/2013

Stone City employees were great. The owner was horrific. They cut a piece of granite for our bathroom vanity with a large, near 1/2 an inch gap on one side. Their installer told us they could do better, but that the owner would never refund us. \r That is exactly what we are experiencing. The owner has been horrible to work with and has no customer service skills. He refuses to refund our money or cut us a new piece. They do not have the best technology, and so can't do the quality of work we need. \r \r My suggestion is to avoid this company completely. Their installer was afraid to tell the owner that the piece didn't fit right because he thought the owner would fire him. Not the kind of company I want to use. more

WOW! this was THE WORST Customer service I have ever received, from the owner himself, Baboo. They arrived with the stone cut too small so there were gaps on either side of the counter top/lopsided gaps. They also brought the wrong sink twice. The owner informed me that if I sent the incorrect piece back that I would not get my money back and demanded that I let him speak on the phone... Sorry baboo that isn't the way to do business in America. Do it right or we will get our money back. What a horrible experience. Don't waste your time and avoid at all costs. Still no refund or counter top in our bathroom. Will update post if/when there is a satisfactory resolution. more

DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE…READ THE REVIEWS\r I ordered granite for kitchen and bath. I bought a new stainless steel sink for 450.00 on bin. It was beautiful. I dropped it off at Stone City with a template. They scratched it all over by stacking other sinks on top of it. First they say its my fault because it did not have a box yet they took my bathroom sink from home without a box when the sales person came to measure. Then when the owner mis measured my 6 inches and I had to go without a part of my counter for over a week since they had already torn out the counters. Their work was crappy. Their solution to my island was to put a small piece of wood under one side to balance it. So I have a big gap at the bottom. I went to the BBB and now the owner claims that there was never any scratches. Please heed this warning and go with someone else. more

Do not use this company! As a very brief summary: they left a ton of damage in our kitchen, had poor craftsmanship, and lied over and over when we were trying to resolve everything. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere. A bunch of people have been to our house (professionals to try and examine the damage and just friends/family/neighbors) and have said what a poor job was done. Had they not lied so much I might have not been so upset, but it's frustrating when they keep going back and blatantly lying about what has happened when we are trying to resolve it. more

Don't waste your time with these 2/14/2012

Don't waste your time with these people. Yeah, they were a bit cheaper than some others, but their service is TERRIBLE! We reserved two pieces, and they installed one piece that we didn't really reserve - it was damaged. We tried to get them to help (not even replace - just repair) but they ignore us. We're screwed with damaged stone they refuse to be accountable for. I would have paid 5% more to anyone for the better service. more

Fantastic Workmanship! 8/13/2010

Excellent work! I would give them two thumbs up for their Kitchen remodeling. The sales person was so courteous and informative. I really liked the way he guided me in selecting the stone with different but suitable tailor made ideas. They got plenty of colors to choose and I think they are really experienced in this business. Price looked little high initially but they have given me a complete satisfaction and later I realised its absolutely worth to pay. If its possible, I can proudly post photos of my kitchen in this site. Can anyone help on it? I would recommend them just for their quality work and I suggest you to go their shop once before you decide on your countertops and have some knowledge about stones. Great job guys!! more

Stay Away 6/16/2010

This will be my 4th time having them come out because the granite on my island is still moving. The guys that came out originally, cut the template wrong, sawed into my plumbing, left scratches on the new granite. Olga and Jeri will not listen to anything you say on the phone. Instead they will just say uh huh, uh huh with no recollection of what was just said. As of today almost a year later we are still calling with issues. We should have done the research prior and steered clear of this place. Just realized the two below me that reviewed this place and give it 5 stars both work there!!! Pros: Price was decent Cons: Not enough room to list all of them more

Best Service and Very Economical Prices 6/10/2010

They have variety of Granite selections. You can't go wrong on choosing right counter tops. Tell owners your likes. They shoud be able to point the right counter top that should fit in your budget. Pros: Great Quality and Workmanship more

Great Job from Beginning to End 6/1/2010

All of the cost including additional charges and discounts were disclosed upfront. The schedule for all the work was arranged based on my availability. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and recommended places to go checkout designs. It helped me in making the right decision for my home. Great job Stone City. Keep up the good work. poor installation, not happy 2/16/2010

Yes, the customer needs to supervise at all steps of the install. Don't sign off until you like it. They told me the calk would dry clear and it didn't. I now have white caulk on my dark granite. Bad seam, and not real level so my stove is not level.(and the cabinets were perfectly level) Not happy, and they have not returned my phone calls. Would NOT use again, and will warn my friends and co-workers to not use. Pros: good granite selection Cons: communication issues at installation more

Best prices and workmanship we have seen in the Denver market 3/9/2007

Stone City had not only the Best Prices but also the quality of the granite and installation was unmatched by competitors. They did our kitchen, bath. Bar and all back splashes to match perfectly. The work was completed as scheduled and it was done right the 1st time. The organization is top notch with the expertise in granite that is unmatched by any other supplier and installer.
