Stone City

The folks at Stone City made our kitchen remodel a success from start to finish. They replaced all our counter tops with granite and changed the layout a bit. Victor helped with the templating of the design. His artistic eye was really good when it came to cutting. MK and Larry were the folks in the office. I could tell they took extra care to make sure we were taken care of. more

Stone City was fantastic! They put granite in the kitchen and in the powder room, and that was my first time using the company. I like that they were on time, they were clean, and they did what they were supposed to do. Everything they did was good and perfect. more

I have a friend that has used STONE CITY before so I thought I would try them out. They came and installed some granite for me and I was very pleased with their service. What really stands out to me was the fact that they completed the project in excellent timing. They know what they are doing and are quite skilled and knowledgeable as well. Stone City installed a counter top granite and everything turned out great! We appreciated their willingness to get the job done right. There was an issue where something didn't fit, they found a way to make it work.The workers showed up on time and showed a genuine concern for our home and the quality of the project. I am ordering kitchen cabinets from Stone City LLC. My plan is to potentially order granite counter tops as well. Their pricing is very good. The sales team is very knowledgeable and helpful. I was a little nervous because there was a change in the staffing and I had been working with someone who had been with the company for a long time, but Rick is just as good. I have nothing but praises for him. I had to make a few changes during the process and he just went with it. No problem. I highly recommend Stone City. more

A couple weeks ago we went to Stone City to pick out some granite and then we had them put it in for our hallway ledge and in the bathroom. I wasn't here for the actual work but I heard it went well and they were in and out with no issues. My only issue was that when we went in to look at the granite, well it was a saturday and i don't know if they were short staffed or what but it took a while for someone to come help us out. Once we got a hold of a salesperson it was good and we had an excellent service experience but it took time at first. It was a good experience all in all. They had what we wanted and their scheduling person is very good. She does a good job of contacting and letting you know what's going on and everything, so that was very helpful. more

Stone City had reasonable prices, good quality and they were very nice to work with. They cleaned up after the job was done. I was definitely happy with the finished look. I used to be in the industry and I know what to look out for, and I was very impressed. more

Larry, the sales rep, at Stone City is great- super friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone else is a nightmare. We had 2 main jobs- 1st was the kitchen, 2nd was the bathroom. The kitchen came first and templater came early even after being told not to (the decision maker was not home yet). Then on install, they sent 2 guys for an entire kitchen that was made into 2 pieces. They arrived, by the time they opened the door they said there is no way we can do this- we can't go up those stairs! These stairs have been here the entire time (including when the templator came) and are nothing more than a simple flight of stairs that end in a hallway. Every home in the neighborhood has them. The installers then tried telling it was not there fault and I had to call Larry. During this time, the 2 installers tried to lift the piece out of their truck and they could not lift the piece themselves. Larry got the owner of Stone City to come out, and the owner then yelled at me telling me it was all my fault to the point I was almost crying. I did not spend thousands of dollars to be yelled out. I came up with a plan and they got 2 more guys out to help. With 5 guys, there were finally able to do the install. This took almost a whole day. The 2nd part of the job should be pretty simple- 2 bathrooms and 1 small kitchen piece. Scheduling a templater took 2 weeks, then we had to wait close to 3 weeks for install. The 1st bathroom was the master bath and within 5 minutes of them arriving, they damaged our bathroom door to a newly remodeled bathroom. They don't want to do anything to fix it and suggest we just get a new door that we have to pay for. Then came the kitchen and they wined and wined saying they can't do it. The title backsplash is too hard to work around. This cabinet and title backsplash were there when the templater was here and nothing was said of concern. An hour later, they finally are installing the piece. The second bathroom they tried to tell me if the facet would not work- I had to then show them a solution. At the end of the job, they wanted me to sign paperwork and say all was good, and when I reminded them about the door problem, they just cursed and left. No customer service. Stay away! more

My experience with Stone City LLC was kind of different. First of all, the salesperson was great. They did a terrific job of selling to me and showing me different options. They helped me to get the best deal and they made sure the fit was good. The purchase went very well. Now, my issue was that the two ends on my island needed to be buffed out because they were a little rough from the cut. I called Stone City and asked them about getting it fixed. They said they don't do that. When I told them that I bought it from them, they said okay, they would have the owner call me back. He never called. I called back a week later they just brushed me off. Another week went by, no call. I even called the installers that did the job and they didn't call me back either. I finally made an appointment with Stone City. Well, nobody showed up. I called and asked why they didn't show up, they told me there was a miscommunication between them and the owner, who was supposed to come out. Well, he finally came out the next day and it was all taken care of. It was just a lot of work to get them to take care of this. And the fix wasn't difficult, and it didn't take long. Their follow up definitely needs to be improved. I would still recommend them, the installers did a superb job. I even called up Stone City and let them know what a great job the installers did. I'm very happy with the finished product. more

Stone City did pretty much what they were supposed to do, but they didn't go beyond. I hired them to do my bathroom. They did clean up after themselves and I would rate them very high in that category, but I probably wouldn't recommend them. more

The workers from Stone City LLC did a great job with the work we had hired them for, they came out quickly and got to work right away. The work itself went down quickly and without any issues. We are planning on having them come back in the near future to do a remodel of our kitchen floor because they did such excellent work with the first job. Stone City did an excellent job with the work we needed done, and I will definitely be using them again for my kitchen, and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of similar services. more

I thought Stone City LLC did a good job with the work we had hired them for. When I had first called them to get some quotes on how much granite flooring would cost, it seemed over the phone like they didn't want to work with me, or come out and do the job. After we talked and I never heard back from them I started looking at other places, I called them back and got upset with their lack of help, and they finally agreed to help and came out to install the new floor. Once they came out everything went smoothly, they came out on time, got to work quickly, and installed the floor without a problem. Though I initially had problems getting them to come out, the job went very well and the new floor was installed without a problem, I will definitely recommend Stone City to others in need of similar services. more

What impressed me the most about the people over at Stone City is that they were so very efficient. They were able to help me figure out exactly how I wanted my kitchen redone. Whenever they had something they could do multiple ways they would stop and ask me how I wanted it done and then they would go with my way which I really appreciated. They did a truly incredible job and I could not be happier with how everything turned out. more

What I really like about the people over at Stone City is that they are very easy to work with. I had an extra cabinet that I wanted put in and they really worked with me to make it happen. Once we had everything straightened out they did a really great job with coming in and taking care of everything for me in a very timely and efficient manner. Everything turned out beautifully and I really could not be happier with it. more

I am very happy with everything that the people over at Stone City did for me. They were very careful not to break or damage anything which is always very important. I like that they made a real emphasis out of it. On top of that they did a very good job. The way that they got the edge of the sink to mesh looks fantastic. Everything just came out really well and I could not be happier with these guys. more

My experience with Stone City LLC was wonderful. They came to my home on time and redid my kitchen counter and the grout work. The customer service at Stone City was absolutely fantastic, everyone was nice, helpful and very professional. They were great to work with. The installers were fast and efficient, couldn't ask for better. I will definitely call on them again in the future if I should happen to need of the services they provide. We loved the service we received from Stone City! Every one there has such a great attitude. They are so polite and professional. We really appreciate everything Claudia did to help us out. In fact, some of the material wasn't cut to the correct measurement and they didn't leave until everything was completed accurately. They went above and beyond - staying until around 7:30 p.m. - on a Friday evening I might add. I really appreciated that and definitely will be recommending them! more

When I first walked in to Stone City I didn't quite know what I was going to do or what I wanted. She helped me a lot and even picked out the stone on back splash, which turned out great. The store manager also helped me pick out the stone that would match the best. I was happy with everything they did including the install. I would recommend them to anyone. They did a great job. Stone City does all of my granite installations for rental properties that I own and in my own house. What I like best about them is they're quick and honest. They'll tell you upfront if they can do a granite project or not and they always do great work. Their granite is beautiful and I love working with them, recommended. more

Well I wasn't there so I didn't interact with Stone City much but they did a good job, they went in independently and it looks awesome. I don't know about long term but I would have them do stuff in my new house. I had them do this work because I am moving homes but after seeing their work I will be hiring them to do some stuff in my new house. The one thing I would have loved to see is the caulking job on one of the back splashes just could be a little bit cleaner. There are rough marks in it. only on one of the sinks. As of right now I would use them in a heart beat. more
