STK is the best! My friends and I came here last night and had an amazing time. The staff was super friendly and on point. The food was soooo tasty and I can honestly say I am addicted to the sweet corn pudding! Loved the ambiance... cant get enough of this place! Pros: everything Cons: reservations recommended more

LA's Best Steak 11/1/2008

I have been to Cut, Mastro's, Boa, and other ""top"" steakhouses in the LA area, but none compare the food and service I received at STK. I went here with a large group of friends for a birthday party and was blown away. I figured it would be the same experience you get with trendy restaurants. You know...where you pay for the scene and not the food quality...not at STK. Being that it was my first time at the restaurant I had to have a cut of steak, why wouldn't you? So, I ordered the bone-in ribeye as a recommendation from my waiter Chad. I am a carnivore at heart and this cut was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and you could taste the quality in the meat. STK is definitely better than the rest of the other trendy steakhouses because they come with the quality, service, and ambience like no other. more

Great atmosphere, tasty food 10/30/2008

My friends and I went to STK and absolutely loved it. Reservations can be a bit tricky but once you get in its worth it!! My food was delicious, filet I ordered was cooked to perfection. We had yummy desserts and fun cocktails. Loved the dj and cool bar scene. The crowd was great, attractive, and friendly. My server and the entire staff was awesome and made the night even better! sunday surprise 10/25/2008

I was so excited to try this restaurant and I'm glad I did. I was there on a Sunday night. It wasn't crazy packed but I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I was surprised to know that they were offering a ""Wine down Sunday"" which was great because my boyfriend and I are big wine drinkers. They had a great selection of wines for half off. Amazing. I will be back!!!! Pros: no wait on a sunday Cons: half off wines!!! more

I was a little apprehensive and not in the best of moods when I got dragged out to dinner at STK. I am very glad that i went!!! The atmosphere was actually fun and the food was AMAZING!!!!\r I would go back....and I recommend going on the weekend when there is a DJ spinning in the bar. more

Lovely place to dine 9/27/2008

The best steak I have ever had, kobe filet, here at STK. It was amazing and my girlfriend is trying to murder me because I won't stop talking about it! It was an amazing experience, it's as if I was sitting on a cloud with angels. The food here is amazing and I am recommending this place to everyone I know. Maybe it's because I am from out of town, but I thought everything from the drinks to appetizers to the entrees were just incredible. THANK YOU STK. more

STK is a great place to go for fun with friends or romantic dinner with your special someone. The atmosphere is incredible and the decor has a really great, dark undertone to it. The food is great and there was no wait for me at my prime seating of around 8:30. The waitstaff is incredible, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food is amazing and I loved all the courses received. My steak was cooked to perfection and their sides/appetizers are delicious. Overall, STK is a great, fun spot and I will be sure to visit again soon. Pros: seated promptly, steak, atmosphere, decor Cons: no street parking, very packed more

A little pricey, but good 9/20/2008

I had heard some mixed reviews about STK and decided to try it out for myself. I started off the night with a few drinks that were amazing. The guys behind the bar definitely know what they are doing, without a doubt. The food itself was good, not great. I had the short ribs, which I really liked, but the sides did it for me. The truffle fries were great and so was the creamed corn. The place does get a little loud as well, but not screaming loud. Overall, I liked STK, I may be back again in the future. I love coming to STK because I like meat (get your head out of the gutter!). Their steaks are always cooked to perfection and just the way I like it, medium rare. Their sides are amazing and the dessert is delicious. Make sure you reserve a table in advance!! It gets very busy on the prime nights. I will definitely be back for more! I love coming to STK. I have been here a few times and decided to try something besides their wonderful steaks to ensure they were a rounded-out establishment. I tried the market fish..one word...DELICIOUS. It was a New Zealand Grouper with ponzu sauce and it was sooo tasty. I came here with my best friend Janine and she could not stop talking about how great the cocktails were the amazing service. She loved her filet medallion she ordered. On top of our entrees we ordered the creamed spinach and baked sweet potato...lovely. I will keep coming back to STK because they treat their customers well and know how to please the taste buds! Great Cocktails and Scene 9/6/2008

I went here last night with a buddy of mine and wow...the women in this place are beautiful! I got in at around 8:30 last night and just had some drinks and appetizers at the bar. I drank my usual vodka tonic and had some great food to go along with it. But, I must say the women, including the one's not working at STK are gorgeous. Great STK's, atmosphere, and service 9/6/2008

I have heard many great things about STK from friends, so I finally decided to come in and try it for myself. Well, low and behold, STK definitely pleased me. I started the night coming in a little early with my boyfriend to order some drinks (AMAZING!). The guys/gals behind the bar know what they are doing. My drink was perfect. I started off the meal with the tuna tartare which was phenomenal. Then, I ordered the NY Strip Steak...cooked just the way I like it..medium rare. My bf ordered the 20oz. rib eye and he loved it. The meat was so tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. But, the sides took the cake. We had the truffle fries, mac n cheese, and creamed corn. The truffle fries and creamed corn are to die for. I nearly fainted from a bite of the tasty morsels. The mac n cheese I wasn't too keen about, but still good. We ended the meal with the ""Milk and Cookies"" dessert with some coffee on the side...a great way to end a meal. STK is definitely a place I will be frequenting. PS. Their wait-staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to ordering. They do a great job of answering any questions or concerns you may have. more

Best Steak in LA! 9/2/2008

The food is great. I especially like the Foie Gras French Toast and the Beef Short Ribs. The specialty drinks are amazing! BEST STEAK IN TOWN! 8/30/2008

I went to STK with my girls for a birthday and everything was perfect. The steaks were amazing (i recommend a large filet with crab topping and blue butter sauce) the sides were incredible (sweet corn pudding, truffle fries, mac n cheese) the specialty cocktails were good (Tempest Storm was my favorite). We had a little bit of a wait for our table (10 girls on a friday night at the hottest restaurant in LA, that's to be expected) but we made nice with bartender and got some drniks while we waited....everyone was soooooo nice especially the manager who came over to wish my BFF a happy birthday....def cant wait to go back to STK! The BEST Steak I have had in years 7/28/2008

I was on vacation in Los Angeles about a week ago and wanted to go out for a great steak. A friend recommended STK and CUT, but I went with the first as it sounded cool. I could not have been happier with my experience and know that I made the right decision. I not only saw who I think is one of the gals from SNL sitting at the bar, but I had the best steak I have ever had in my life.\r I waited for my table, yes, but not for more than 15 minutes and had I not gone to the bar, would have missed what I refer to as my ""celebrity encounter."" Oh...and they surprisingly had delicious desserts. I am fatter, but happier thanks to STK! Pros: FOOD Cons: they don't have an STK where I live more
