Call FIRST, The Best in Town 7/3/2011

We had a huge party about a month ago that got WAY out of hand & needless to say the carpet & our couches were in complete & total disarray. This one corner of our living room just reeked as if someone had hidden a 5 gallon bottle of curdled milk there, & we had red wine stains, chocolate stains, marker stains, I just wanted to strip my apartment & start all over. However we read a couple of reviews about this company on citysearch & decided to give them a try. The guy was on time, & I felt bad that there was so much work for him to do ya know? But he did it with a smile the entire time. I have to say that this cleaning service is amazing! They are the best, my carpet looks brand new. They got everything out, he cleaned my couches also & got all the stains out. The service & the experience was just superb. I didn't know that there were people out there, that still work this hard. That still cared about giving the best, and doing your best. It wasn't expensive either. These guys are 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, the best hands down. They should be the first place you call. more

Got our security deposit refunded! 6/21/2011

Hi, After renting a house for two years, the carpets were a dirty mess. The owner said that he would need to keep our security deposit because he needed to replace the carpets. I contacted Tom at Steam Machine, he told me that the carpets could be cleaned without a problem, but I would have to pay a extra amount because of the amount of work needed to bring these carpets up to our landloards requirement. They were a mess... The estimate was $275, plus a extra $100 for extra chemicals and cleaning. Our landloard could not get over how great the carpets cleaned up. He was happy because he did not want to have to replace the existing carpets. So we were able to get our $1475 deposit back without delay!! Thanks Tom and Steam Machine, You came through when we needed this cash.... more

We own a 7000 sq.ft. home in upscale Jamison Park My husband always contracts to have our carpets serviced twice a year. The past two years we have retained the Steam Machine Carpet Cleaning Company. I must state here and now that this is the finest carpet cleaning company we have used on our expensive carpeting. I will never use a chem dry or stanley steemer company for our home. Our standards are too high for those so called carpet cleaning companies to meet. Steam Machine Carpet Cleaning not only met, but exceeded our high level of standards. Hats off to Steam Machine! I would give Steam Machine a 10 STAR rating if I could! Sears and Stanley Steemer came to my home 6 times and could not get a large RED STAIN out of our white carpet. The stain was located in the middle of the room. When Steam Machine came into our home, they asked us if we want to pay a little extra to get this RED STAIN out. I informed Tom that others tried to remove the stain and could not, so I said NO. BUT, when Tom said to me the cost to remove this stain would be $35 and no charge if the stain will not come out. What did I have too loose? I would have been willing to pay $200 to get this stain out, so I told Tom try to remove it you can ! hahaha. GUESS WHAT??? Tom worked on the RED STAIN for less than 5 minutes and the red was gone!!!!! I could not beleive it, he got the red out! I will NEVER EVER use any other company to clean our carpets, Steam Machine Rocks..... Bill more

Smoke Odor Gone 5/20/2011

Prompt/upfront/honest/best in town! 5/10/2011

If you need to have your carpets done, go with Steam Machine Carpet and Furniture cleaning. They were prompt, upfront about all of their prices and cleaned my carpets better then what I thought would have been done. They were very helpful and offered plenty of information about my carpets and also what i can do to keep them in the best condition possible. They are the best and will only deal with them in the future. more

After contacting several carpet cleaning services to find a new cleaning service for one of our rentals, I called Steam Machine and was so impressed with the customer service, quality of products, and pricing. Wow! Called yesterday, they made time for us. The day before Easter! ""Wow! is the only way to express the results. The technician came in and put his magic potion together and began about his job. We challanged him to try to clean an area rug we hadn't had anyone have any success with and he took us up. What a great job he did. Our rug once again shows the color and patterns we loved and is ready for use. The process worked so well we had him do ALL of our other area rugs and they all came out clean and bright. The steam carpet cleaning process is wonderful. The carpets are dry in a few hours. Your not walking on a carpet full of dry chemicals. And best of all, the Carpets are CLEAN. Great job! We got out carpets cleaned with Steam Machine cleaning and they did a great job. The guys that came to our house were very nice and patient. They were not in a hurry to get the job done and bolt. They took there time and did a great job. I would definitly recommend them and they will be our first call next time. Plus I only called a couple days ahead and they fit us in. THANKS STEAM MACHINE! more

HELP ARRIVED AFTER TORNADOES, FLOODING!!! 4/17/2011

After a day of severe storms and brutal tornadoes in Raleigh, North Carolina, my finished basement flooded and I needed help. I called several companies who told me that because it was Saturday after 5 PM the cost would start at $260 per hour and would not show til tomorrow AM. Of the 5 companies I contacted, Tom from Steam Machine was the only one who had concern for my family.Tom asked if we needed anything from the store or Home Depot. He asked if we are safe!! Steam Machine only charged $125 per hour and came to my home within 45 minutes! They stayed at my home for 3 hours saving my home from water damage. They worked very hard and did a great clean up job. Now thats service. more

Apartment is Clean. 4/17/2011

I moved into my apartment in 2003. The carpets were new when I moved in but after 7 years... ummm not so much. It was one of those things where no matter how well I vaccumed or used carpet stain remover it would always look dirty and gross. I thought I was moving and never moved so I didn't look into carpet cleaning. When I decided to stay I decided it was time to get someone in to clean my carpets. And by that time it was BAD. Stains from animals, food, bikes even candle wax that had been spilled since early 2005. I looked on City Search and saw the comments people had left about Steam Machine Carpet Cleaning. I called Ken early in the week and we scheduled that Saturday morning. He showed up on Saturday on time. He is the nicest guy! He was also really easy to talk to while he was working which made for having a stranger in my home not so awkward. Ken got EVERY SINGLE STAIN OUT. I am not kidding. I was hoping for maybe just a cleaner, fresher smelling apartment but he managed to remove every single stain. Miracle worker. The total for my whole apartment was $130 because of all the stains. So worth every penny and I will for sure be calling him again in 6 months if it means my apartment can maintain this level of cleanliness. It's been 3 weeks since he left and the stains have not resurfaced, they are gone for good! What a good company. more
