great service! had them out for to clean a house that I had purchased. Four women showed up and began to clean the house more maticulously then I had ever cleaned myself. Each person concentrated on certains areas of the house. all in all they did an excellent job! I am very funny about staying in places other people have stayed and buying a house from someone means I would have to live where someone else has lived. I used Spic and Span for a few months. It was ok at first. Then it went bad fairly quickly. I kept calling them to come back to fix problems. They always had excuses on why things were not done right. I talked to the managers and owners a few times before finally giving up. Don't let them ruin your countertops. more

I have been with Spic & Span for 5 years now.I am really surprise to see some of these reviews.I have referred over 7 different families. After I read these reviews I spoke to each person that I have referred which includes co-worker's and family member's each had wonderful feed back about Spic & Span.They always send out 4 ladies to clean my home.If they are running late the office staff calls me,I trust Spic & Span to enter my home when I'm not there.If anything was ever missed they sent the group back.When I walk into my home it smell's SPIC & SPAN. I discontinued my service and asked that my key be mailed back to me. They agreed and when I arrived home the next day I opened my mailbox and there was the envelope. Just one problem, when I opened the letter there was no key. There was a rip in the envelope that had been taped. I contacted S&S and they told me there was nothing they could do. Am I to assume that there is a theif that rides around Pearland opening mail from S&S, stealing the key and then re-taping the envelope. I called the police and made a report and now I have to replace all my locks! They will see me in small claims court. How disappointing! more

This service did a great job,4 women showed up took control of my home they all knew what needed to be cleaned with out me having to take time to explain.The office staff took all my information and my concerns and did a great job expressing my wishes to them. First 3 times they came out we had good service. It was a little pricy, but I needed my house cleaned. After that I experienced unprofessional behavior from the staff. One girl was on her phone while she was 'cleaning' and then charged her phone at my house!!! They only did a sub par job too. Maybe if they did their job instead of socializing they would do better. more

FOR A GOOD LAUGH --You HAVE TO READ THIS ONE...I was a customer for 3 years, we sold our house and they came out to clean right before the closing and we paid them an extra $50 on top of regular fee to come out earlier in the day. 4 days later I call to set up the cleaning at the new house and they want to charge me a RESTART FEE??? AND increase the price - It was NOT a RESTART, ONLY an address change... I had continuous service with them for 3 years! Heck, the fee is only $10 but it is the principle of the matter. The owner was out so I asked the lady to call the owner to have her remove the fee. She called back and said ""Actually the fee is $20 but we are discounting it for you"" WHAT - I am a Sales Manager that deals with Customer Service all day long and cannot fathom their way of thinking. BY THE WAY, my digital camera is missing also, any ideas Spic-n-Span??? Also, Maid Services are a dime a dozen and their company was always sometimes good and sometimes not as far as the quality. I have found the best cleaning service in Pearland. I have used all of the rest molly maids, aaa cleaning, maid to order, white gloves, and cleaning authority and have just thrown my money away. This company has done a wonderful job since jan 2007. I love the owners which are always available and the girls are always very respectful and quick to clean my home. If you need a maid service call them and they will give you a quote on the phone. The other companies have been overcharging me for years and here this company is the most affordable and this is the company that does the job right. This company does what they say they are going to clean. They send out 4 girls and clean your house in about 1 or 1.5 hrs. They are in and out of your house and do not take all day like most services. They always do a full cleaning not like other companies that do light cleaning in most rooms and detail in another. This company does a complete cleaning every time they service my home. If you are looking for a good company and excelent service this is the company. I will recommend highly and all my friends and family are clients. I feel safe to leave them in my house and go to the grocery store. I have seen these comments posted on numerous accounts. I have a different outlook on Spic&Span Maid service. I have not had any problem with scheduling, doulble payments. The workers do a great job and always in a good mood. Would like to recommend Spic&Span Maid Service to anyone. First of all, I worked for this company and I am so disgusted by the fact that the workers are only paid $40.00 a day for the work that they have to do. now a work day starts at 7:15am and is over only when the crew of 3 or 4 people are done cleaning 7 homes. The workers are only given one 30 minute lunch. Then it is back to work. The worst thing of all is that the workers eat and drink things that are at the homes they clean. Others things are removed as well, personal items but only things that won't be missed. Watered down chemicals are used to clean the houses so nothing is really done properly. Now the worst thing of all is that most of the workers are illegal immigrants and when you go there to get hired, you fill out the paperwork and they tell you to come to work the next day. Nothing is checked out background or references I would strongely recommend that you really consider using this company. I no longer work there because of all this and don't want to be involved in this illegally run company. Cons: to many to say more

We were recommended to this service by my husband's business associate. The prices were changed several times without notifying us until after we had received service. The staff are nasty and rude. We tried the service for a couple of months but were terribly distraught when we learned our credit cards were being double charged on two different occassions. They refused to return our money and were hostile. I would never recommend these people to anyone. Pros: cheap Cons: poor quality, nasty attitudes, bad service more
