This spa is HORRIBLE. Stay away. I repeat, STAY AWAY. You will be fooled under the guise of clever decor once you walk in, however you will quickly discover that the ENTIRE staff is incompetent, lazy, unprofessional and trashy. I had 2 experiences here and they were both just an utter disappointment. I thought that the first time was just a fluke and decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. First of all, for the kind of money they want for their services, you would expect high class, professional service but you will receive the exact opposite. You do not get what you pay for. I paid for a 60 minute massage and was told the (mediocre) massage was over after 35 minutes.... The towels are SO disgusting, old and ratty. The steam shower was not cleaned from the person before me. The carpet is filthy. The water bottles they offer you are not sealed and I would not let my dog drink that water. I was left waiting in limbo between services because my therapist had left the building! Can you believe that? How unprofessional. Which leads me to the next issue of the management. It is evident that the manager has ZERO management capabilities. The therapists that they hire are trashy girls who sit behind the front desk, complaining about clients. Their attire and complete overall appearance is tacky and unprofessional as well as their skill levels. They are not properly trained in their art form and you will find that out as soon as you are in the room! Thats if your therapist doesn't leave you stranded to leave the spa on personal business. I had an early morning eyebrow wax scheduled and after 30 minutes of waiting, reception informs me that the girl who was scheduled to wax my eye brows is not coming in and there is no one else at the spa who could do them. Perfect! What is the point of making an appointment at this place? I was offered nothing, not even an apology for their lack of professionalism. What kind of manager just allows their staff to come and go as they please while there are clients waiting? Or rather not even show up for their assigned shift and STILL HAVE A JOB? The manager is very rude as well, I was disgusted when I heard her speaking to a staff member, very condescending and belittling. She needs to brush up on her etiquette and professionalism, no wonder her staff acts the way they do. The training is clearly lacking and it shows from the management down to the receptionist. The receptionist could not do one thing with out texting on her phone, she did not even look at me when speaking to me, just continued to text on her phone. Their system seems to be behind the times as well, when asked to break my $100 they did not have any change. No cash register, just money shoved under a stack of papers. The receptionist had to leave to go to the restaurant next door for change! Again, rude and unprofessional. I left this place 10 times more stressed than when I had arrived. This place would be better run by a zoo keeper. I have never experienced such poor customer service and I am VERY disappointed by this spa. The manager should be ashamed and embarrassed to run a business with such terrible customer service as this. Do your self a favor and spend your money ANYWHERE else but at Spa Bellissimo in Norwood, MA.
