For timeliness, courtesy, capability and neatness, Southwest is on target; however, in hind sight I paid way too much for the job. I had Southwest repair a short collapsed section...

Overpriced/no response 7/13/2017

Charged 821.00 for one hour install of a one handle kitchen faucet to an elderly aunt (88 years old, on fixed income). Called repeatedly to question the amount and never got a promised call back. Local plumber said it was as least twice what it should have cost. I'll never call again and advise everyone I know to stay away. more

Hello, Brent and Drew arrived promptly at 11:00am. They were courteous, polite, and comfortably professional on initially greeting them. This put me at ease and was very reassuring. They set to right away to analyze our problem and within minutes arrived at a solution all the while maintaining a very polite, friendly, and professional bearing. They worked hard and very quickly solved our drainage problem. They cleaned up their work area, explained our bill in easy to understand terms. The costs were very reasonable. Then, they politely said goodbye wishing us a good day as they left. I would use them again for any other plumbing problems and recommend South West Plumbing to my friends and neighbors. Professional, Accessible and Suprised 6/23/2014

Over the father's day weekend, I got a call from my tenant that the toilet developed a leak from the tank. It's a headache and I felt my stress level go up. I asked friends for referral as I didn't trust using these bigger brands. None of the referral panned out as it was on a weekend, especially holiday weekend. As a last resort, I called Southwest Plumbing. I was told they could have someone out on the Sunday (next day, as I called at 10pm). Bob came out, gave me the price (no obligation), and it's probably more than what it would cost me to do it (probably 2x or 3x more but it would've been my time and also it'll be inconvenient to the tenant). He went above and beyond, took care of everything, and left everyone with peace of mind. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. more

Dispatcher just erased my name and failed to call to let me know SW Plumbing would be a no show. I waited six hours for this no show. Would never call them again. Customer service was terrible. more

Unbelievable Response and Service! 8/16/2013

My worst nightmare: a non-flushing toilet on a Friday afternoon. I found South West prominently advertised in the Yellow Pages and called them in desperation. Within an hour or so (well within the time window the nice dispatcher gave me), my technician, Bobby W. showed up. He was courteous, professional and (here's the unbelievable part) solved my problem with no charge. Yes, no charge. Turned out it was only clogged, but with a 90 year old house and one bathroom, I would was expecting the worst. He also took the time to discuss options for the future and explained the inner workings of the mysterious toilet to me. I will not hesitate to call South West the next time I need any service they provide - well done!!! more

New water heater 7/13/2013

Todd got to our house quickly and worked for 5 hours to take out the old hot water heater and put in a new one. Our house is 110 years old so the space was small and hard to get in and out of. He connected gas up and our washer/dryer and fixed the incoming plumbing so it was to code. He was pleasant, loved the dogs, and cleaned up when he finished. He was terific! more

Great service 6/23/2013

Rick B and his team from South West Plumbing repaired a broken sewer pipe for me a few weeks ago. They explained the job thoroughly ahead of time, and kept me updated as they worked. They were polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves, even reseeded the lawn where they had to dig! There were no surprise charges a the end of the job. A good experience, I'll be sure to call them next time I need plumbing service. more

Abel & his partner Jay, provided me the service I I needed in a prompt, professional & friendly/informative manner, they even came out on a Sunday. They were able to save my bath tile, which would have cost me lot's of money replaced a toile,t & fixed a problem with my water heater that I wasn't aware of. more

Heating and Plumbing 5/5/2013

Bob B. is a qualified technician , he goes the extra mile, he was able to come and help us out the day we called. He had installed our furnace, air filter and done some plumbing for us. We actually used another company for service of our furnace because Bob was not at Southwest Plumbing when we needed our furnace serviced, another technician came, but I felt he was not as qualified at the time. We used another company and they were okay, but when I called southwest plumbing because a bird was stuck in the air out vent of the furnace I was told Bob could come out. Give Bob a raise !!!!! I found South West Plumbing online and now won't use anyone else. Mike V was quick, thorough, informative, friendly and even did more than I originally called the company for. All at a reasonable price. We will be calling him again for our home and our rental property whenever the need arises. more

Professionalism at its best! I recommend Mike V. of South West Plumbing to everyone. There were no surprises, and I didn’t have a simple problem. Mike V. was able to educate me on my system, this allowed me to make informed decisions on the replacement. Mike V. was able to explain in layman terms how to maintain my system to avoid costly repairs in the future. The pride in workmanship was outstanding, It was if he was working on his own home. The team from Southwest Plumbing went above and beyond what I expected or experience in the past. more

south west plumbing - ask for Audie 4/3/2013

i was always hesitant to call south west plumbing since you hear the horror stories of high priced plumbers. Audie and his team proved me wrong. in the matter of one week, i had to call a plumber twice for different buildings and issues. both times Audie, from south west plumbing did the job great. at one point, my tenant let me know if a ceiling hole caused by a leak from the upstairs tub - naturally i assumed this would be an expensive fix. Audie was able to come out right away, took less than a half hour examining and testing the issue, and suggested an appropriate fix that did not cost as much as i had expected. thank you Audie!!! more

My Furnace Lives 3/26/2013

Thanks to Chris for fixing my gas furnace. It works like a charm and I didn't have to buy parts as I was sure I was going to have to. Chris and his partner, Josh, took apart the area of my furnace that had caused the system to fail to send heat into my home. Chris told me what needed to be fixed, showed me the problem and told me step by step on what needed to be done to solve the problem. Then, a half hour later, my home was warm again. more

Low pressure plumbing 2/26/2013

We called South West Plumbing on the recommendation of a city public works contractor, and Rick B lived up to the hype. He had the experience and expertise to manage the repair to our city water connection smoothly and efficiently, and kept us informed about all aspects of the job. He even made sure that our system was brought into compliance before the inspector came by, so we would not have any surprises. I highly recommend Rick B and South West Plumbing. more

My experience with my indoor plumbing pipe replacement 1/14/2013

Jeremy B. was nice, helpful, kind and efficient. I called SW Plumbing and they came the same day and the did a major drain line replacement all in that day. I have been having problems for years, but put it off. Now, I feel so glad and relieved and my plumbing is FIXED and wonderful. Maybe expensive, not sure, but VERY good work. more

Furnace repair - 1/13/13 1/13/2013

Bob B. Was at my door less than two hours from when I called SW Plumbing. He was very cheerful, efficient, thorough and explained everything well. I have used SW Plumbing for the past 10-15 years for my furnace needs and will continue to call SW Plumbing for all future furnace needs! They have always been prompt and more than fair.
