After debating for years now, I have finally decided to look into getting laser hair removal. Terrified of waxing, and getting really tired of shaving every few days, getting laser hair removal wasn't exactly rocket science. However picking a place to do it, took more effort than deciding to get it done. I went to 3 different laser centers, all were ok, answered some of my questions, but in the end just felt like they only wanted my money. After having the 3rd consultation I almost cancelled my free consultation at Sona. Definitely glad I kept my appointment. I met with Monica and she was wonderful. She went over everything extremely thoroughly. Any questions I had she answered them, even questions I hadn't thought of. I never felt pressured with her and after about 5 minutes of thinking I made my decision. I am now two sessions down, with three more to go. While I get extremely nervous, Mary, my therapist always makes me feel comfortable and will walk me through the procedures and exp more

Wonderful products and services. I go in for laser hair removal and botox - quick and effective. The staff are always friendly and greet me with warm smiles when I walk in. I always feel welcome, and walk out feeling amazing! more

DO NOT GO TO SONA MED SPA IN GRAPEVINE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND ARE ABSOLUTELY HEARTLESS! I went for my first two appointments and told the woman i had been in the sun but covered or with sunscreen and she said ok thats fine and went on with my treatments. When i went in for my third treatment, i had a different lady and told her that i hadn't been in the sun except for an hour each morning for work, and i am in the shade and fully clothed. She refused to treat me because you are not supposed to have DIRECT sun exposure for two weeks prior to your treatment. So then i had to pay them 75 dollars for going and not getting a treatment done. Even though everytime before they treated me and never said anything about not being able to be outside in the shade with all my clothes on, and the areas being treated covered. having said all that, MAKE SURE YOU LIE ABOUT IT WHEN THEY ASK YOU IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE SUN, TELL THEM YOU HAVE ONLY BEEN IN YOUR ROOM FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS!! Omg is all I have to say!How can anyone get away with precharging for services that you have not even gotten. Well guys wake up they cant and by law you dont have to pay for services you never received and uyou should be given at least # days to change your mind and get a full refund! They con you into paying for services and dont even have a appt for you wtf is up with that si i called my bank who refunded every bit of my 2,900 dollars i paid! So i say ha to there fake policy! more

The manager is nice when you first go in then if you have any issues after they have your money she is VERY defensive and confrontational. Definately not service oriented. There prices are higher than most spas and the customer service is very poor (especially the manager). DONT GO TO THERE!!!! Pros: none Cons: horrible customer service more

Worst of all... as an apology... you may get a call from the manager... ... who will promess to call you to reschedule your apointment... but it never happens... and you are stuck in a place you don't wanna be, paying for a treament you don't even want anymore just because you already paid $7000 worth of tratment. Same thing as the other review. Their customer service is severely lacking. The are so nice to you before they get your money - which you have to pay in full up front! - then they are awful. If I hadn't already paid I would not continue with them. They have constantly changed their policies on me. The receptionist is so snooty and acts like she has a poker up her you know what. I went on the strength of the commercials they advertise on KLTY but it is nothing like that at all. I would soooooo not recommend them to anyone. It's all a big con! Yes the hair is removed but you don't see results until about the 4th or 5th session. By the way, watch out for the burn marks on your skin that take days to subside. Very painful! more

Then again, 7 hours before my appointment, I was called and asked they could move me back to my original time. I said No. This is ridiculos. It is very unprofessional. I cant be the only one they are doing this with. It take weeks to get an appointment and then they go messing around with the schedule. I think they way over book and then if they have an employee who doesn't show up or who is sick, they have to cancel all the employees appointments. They shoudn't book all their spots for situtaions like this. If I hadn't already paid for everything, I WOULD NOT GO BACK.Very very disappointed to recevie this level of service for the amount of money I am spending. Pros: No hair!!
