Okay, so the other two reviewers can have their opinions, however, they are wrong, wrong, wrong. In this day and age of speed and expections, how can a place like Solly's ever stand up against crappy fast food chains. (And the fries are better than McDonald's--as is every thing else they serve). Let's take the service, it is slow. They make everything the moment you order it (and not the pretend Culvers way does), so the food takes a bit longer to come. They have one cook and ususally one or two wait staff, so you are going to wait, be prepared. Is the food worth the wait, in a word, yes. The burgers are fantastic and if you haven't had a malt or shake, do so. The hidden gem in this establishment is not the often praised burgers (quoted in Hamburger America as having one of the best burgers in America), but it is the breakfast; pancakes to die for (Apple Pancakes are my fav, not on the menu but just ask for them) and potatoes roestti (swiss cheese & onions mixed) is not often found east of Green County. This is place to frequent, where if you actually talk to the wait staff, they are nice and have good stories.
Pros: The pancakes.
Cons: Plan on the meal taking awhile. Enjoy the lesiure.
