Each Appointment With Alisha is a Joy 1/19/2012

I was sent to Alisha at Solari by my own hairdresser elsewhere is Portsmouth after making the foolish mistake of having my eyebrows waxed at a nail saloon. It was a botched waxing and looked terrible with gaps of no hair in my brows that didn't seem to be growing back. Alisha explained her plan for me to regrow my eyebrows. She continued to shape them monthly letting me know that eventually all would be back to normal. She even showed me how to use a product that would hide the empty spots and sent me to the particular store to get it in the right color. After a period of time, my brows are not only all grown back in but they have never been shaped so flatteringly. I have since added more waxing and eyelash tinting to my regime with Alisha and when budget allows I know I will want to try something new! Alisha is a gem who knows what she is doing. The staff that greets me at the door is charming, pleasant and always kind. I would send anyone to Salari knowing they would get the best! Jane H more

Casey is the Best! 1/17/2012

I've a few different services from Casey and as always she is amazing! She has a great touch and is so friendly and I really look forward to coming in for more services! Also I'm sorry that I can not remember her name but the blonde girl working on Sunday was very sweet and helpful! Also the male receptionist is also always great and friendly too! Thanks!! more

The spa is fantastic! 1/16/2012

I make an annual trip of going to this spa for my birthday every year, and I absolutely love it. The fine-tuned Aveda details, the aroma, the music, the bright and comfortable seating area upstairs, the shower (!!!) and the people who perform the services are all top-notch. I did get my hair done there once and I wasn't crazy about that, but the spa is perfection. more

Good hair day! 1/13/2012

I love the atmosphere at Solari in Portsmouth. You're always greeted warmly. The offer of a cup of tea was gratefully accepted on this cold windy day! Ashley who cuts my hair is awesome and I always leave feeling happy with my new cut. I also like the products but I especially like that even though they help you choose the right ones, they are never pushy about it. Already looking forward to my next appointment! more

Haircut Above Average 1/5/2012

Went to Solari in downtown Portsmouth and had an above average haircut. Staff is knowledgeable and cordial. They were able to accomodate my request without a lot of advance notice, which I really liked. I would certainly go back again. more

Keri is the best in-town--so of course she is booked for the holidays! In my haste, I needed a quick shelac (bad move). Keri @ Solari fixed my nails up-- word to the wise, don't go anywhere else! more

Ashley is a fabulous stylist who gives her clients her full attention and goes above and beyond to insure your salon experience is top-rate. She truly listens and then makes her own suggestions for what she believes will work best in terms of cut and color. It is easy to see that her ultimate goal is client satisfaction. more

I've been going to Solari for over five years now and have never been disappointed with how my hair turned out. Everyone is so personable and professional that when they ask me if I want any hair stylest in particular I always tell them I don't care who does it. My hair always comes out great no matter who I am paired with. more
