Owned by a friendly family of Columbians, Sol y Luna transforms the normal run of the mill Atlantan mexican dining experience (think microwaved combinations) into a explosion of alternative Latin creations and refreshing cocktails. My personal favorite is the chicken mole poblano (breast of chicken is marinated in a chocolate nut sauce, exotic and delicious), but I can confidently recommend the fish tacos, the fajitas, carnitas, and usually the daily specials. They have recently improved their patio by adding an array of flora, making a tropical getaway within Atlanta's perimeter a refreshing reality. I recommend this establishment for a romantic date night, a family dinner, or a night out with friends.
