Businiess name:  Sol Y Luna Restaurant & Cantina
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
This restaurant is my favorite restaurant for cantina-style Latin American cuisine in Atlanta. The food is impeccable -- from the appetizers (the best empanadas I have EVER had) to the desserts (I recommend the house-recipe flan). But what makes Sol y Luna really special -- and what makes them stand out from other restaurants in the area -- is their commitment to service. After two trips, the staff already knew my name and took extra steps to make me feel welcome when I came back. Unlike other Latin American and Mexican restaurants in the area, Sol y Luna doesn't engage in the pretentious ""atmosphere"" games of the uber-chic -- they are committed to serving fantastic food at great prices with highly personable service. After searching the Highlands, Midtown, Decatur, and Buckhead for the best Latin American cuisine, it is safe to say that my quest ended at Sol y Luna! Pros: Parking Lot, Food, Service, Drinks... Service Cons: I wish it were open later! It closes at 10:30!
