Best visit and Technology EVER! 1/1/2011

I had a toothache for about 3 days and did not want to go to the Dentist since I really hate getting my teeth looked at. I go to the dentist every 7-8 months and always need a lot of work done.I was referred to this office by a friend that said she had the best Dental visit of her life. I called and they were able to see me with in hours. When I walked in a very cheerful young woman greeted me with a big smile and knew who I was before I signed in. I had X-rays completed(digitally!!) and an exam by a great Doctor. She informed me that I needed a crown and a cleaning that would help me maintain my gum disease. I have insurance, but as we all know we have copays with anything now a days. I told her that I really couldn't afford to take much time off of work and can I get it all done at the same time. She informed me that they could complete all of my treatment that day if I was willing to be in the office for a few hours and spend a little more money. A pregnant woman came in and explain more

Bad service 10/26/2010

I am discourage anybody to going to this office. They are fully into selling unnecessary services. My kids who have baby teeth were recommended filling. My 6yr old got filling in 3 teeth. She never had any issue with any teeth. After the filling she had pain for more than 1 month. \r \r For this filling process, they made me wait for more than 30min to verify with my insurance about my copay. They told me my copay is $68 after checking with insurance. I recently got a bill from them for $335.00. They say Insurance rejected the claim. \r \r I called my insurance they said they paied them and my copay is $154.00. Insurance called the dental office twice and left message. They never called the insurance back. When I call them the billing manager says talk to your insurance.\r \r This looks like billing fraud. This has been going on for more than 2 weeks now. It is really frustrating. more

Go somewhere else!!! 6/30/2010

I totally agree with VP! I first went there in Feb 2010., they said I needed multiple fillings, and argued with me that my insurance wanted me to pay a copay (which I knew for a fact was wrong because my kids got checkups and treatments there before I did). Also, I checked before I made any appointments, they are a preferred provider on my insurance and there is no copay for the services provided. I finally agreed to paid what they wanted and get a refund later. An appointment that would take maybe 1 hour at my old dentist took over 4 hours!!! After emailing them several times in March, with NO response, I finally took in my EOB from the insurance in June. I spoke to them several times in the last couple weeks, with no response yet and no refund yet. They just keep wanted new appointments for me and my family. I REFUSE to go back to this dentist unless I get my refund. Even then I probably will find a new dentist, so they are losing 5 patients and a getting their well-earned more

KNOW YOUR INS AND YOU WONT BE SURPRISED 3/1/2010

My family and Friends use this dentist office and they have been great and more then helpful with todays economy. The dental ins you pick is what where your fees are based from. Maybe look at those fees before you go to your dental office? more

Simi Valley Smiles is a Complete Disaster 9/18/2009

I made an appointment at Simi Valley Smiles as a new patient in June, shortly after their grand opening, for an emergency visit. I was in agonizing pain on my bottom left side, and what was worse, this emergency hit a mere 3 days before I had to leave for to work on the East Coast for 2 months.\r \r They were aware of these details, mind you.\r \r My appointment began with X-rays and color photos of my entire mouth, then I was brought into an exam room. There, the dentist basically tried to up-sell me on having my bottom left completely redone, which would total around $3,000 (and yes, I HAVE dental insurance). This was obviously out of the question, as I needed to be drilled-and-filled, STAT, and had a mere 72 hours to do so before I got on an airplane.\r \r From there, another woman came in the room and had me fill out paperwork for a credit check for the ridiculous amount of money the procedure they were pushing on me would cost, rather than just address the emergency at hand. I, of more
