My appointment began with X-rays and color photos of my entire mouth, then I was brought into an exam room. There, the dentist basically tried to up-sell me on having my bottom left completely redone, which would total around $3,000 (and yes, I HAVE dental insurance). This was obviously out of the question, as I needed to be drilled-and-filled, STAT, and had a mere 72 hours to do so before I got on an airplane.\r
