Shapiro Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

I had a Lower Blepharoplasty with fat injection and it was on June 27th of this year. I've always had an issue especially now that of course, I'm aging. I had a very tired look and I wanted to kind of get refreshed. That's what motivated me to get the procedure done. I actually did research to find out about other doctors and their results and their reviews. Much of it has been on online and then when I came to see Dr. Shapiro, I liked his approach and how he talked to me and explained the procedure and how we're going to be able to do it. It was very simple. I think I really thought it was going to be a lot more complicated than it was. I had gone to his office and it was very fast. I thought the recovery was going to take longer and it took about seven days to go outside, just to kind of go back to work in my regular activities, in that aspect. So far people can't really tell I had a procedure done. They have complimented me, but they're not sure what it was that I actually got done. I did have to wear a lot of concealer before and I feel like I don't need to wear as much concealer and I don't have to hide the air pocket under my eyes as much, obviously. Breast augmentation was something that I’ve always thought about doing, but I wanted to find the right time to do that and make sure that it’s something that I actually wanted. I found out about Dr. Shapiro from a friend of mine who had the Hi-Def VASER liposuction on her abdomen, so I went to him and immediately knew he was the right doctor for me. I had an abdominoplasty, Hi-Def VASER liposuction on my back and flanks, fat transfer to my buttocks, and Hi-Def VASER liposuction on the medial thighs. I realized he could do all the procedures I wanted, and it seemed convenient, like a one-stop shop. When I went in to meet him, his staff was great. After they answered all my questions, I booked the appointment right then and there. He almost took seven hours to do my Bilateral Mastopexy with Liposuction and Abdominoplasty with Liposuction, as well as Liposuction on my back. Dr. Shapiro is very meticulous and he follows through with patients. You keep coming back to see him so he can make sure everything is just right. This was my first cosmetic surgery, but I was up and moving and doing my daily activities the next day. I was still able to go back to work two weeks later. I like the shape that I'm taking on, and I know that there?s more to come and I'll like the outcome more as time goes on. I just turned 34 and it just seemed like a good time to have a Breast Augmentation. I've had two kids and I contemplated the surgery for years. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shapiro as my surgeon. I did a lot of research, and I chose Dr. Shapiro as opposed to other doctors. When I came to his facility, I noticed the environment was welcoming. Dr. Shapiro was very professional and understanding, so I put all my trust in his experience. He took the time to ask me what I wanted and explained everything I needed to know. On May 19, 2012 he performed a Bilateral Breast Augmentation and a Left Mastopexy on me. I'm really happy with my results because my breasts look so much better than before. My Chin Augmentation was a very quick and efficient procedure. Dr. Shapiro has wonderful bedside manner and I felt really comfortable going forward with it. Other than the recovery time, which I felt took a little longer (I don???t think it had anything to do with his work; it just had to do with my expectations) I???m VERY pleased with the results. The surgery has given me much more confidence aesthetically in my workplace and social life. I think it was a positive move on my part. I would think that if anyone has any procedures that they feel would make them more comfortable in their own skin and give them more confidence in life, I suggest they get it. I'm satisfied with everything from their follow-up services and phone calls, to their professionalism all throughout. I came in for a consult for a breast augmentation and had a hard time deciding on what size to go with. I picked a size, then went home and slept on it, and then decided that I could go bigger because I'm so tall. They were kind and courteous and let me come back for another sizing. Prior to my surgery with Dr. Shapiro, I went to another surgeon and he did a horrible job. I went online and saw that Dr. Shapiro had five stars all the way to the bottom, so I immediately called him and they got me in for a consult. I fell in love with the place and I'm in love. I had the high definition lipo of the abdomen, chest, back and flanks and it was surprisingly pretty easy. A couple of days post-surgery were a little difficult, but other than that its been easy to recover from. Ive always had low body fat overall, but I had some problem areas and there was residual fat that I couldnt get to go away. I was looking for definition in my torso and the work that Dr. Shapiro did on my made that happen. The results have been fantastic. Hes incredibly professional- I have never seen any results of his that didnt look amazing as an artist. more
