Friendly, helpful, good service. 4/25/2012

We had a problem with our battery and we purchased it downstate and did not want to drive clear back there to get it fixed. We found this Sears Auto Center in Grand Rapids which is only an hour drive and decided to try there. We were very pleased with the friendly reception we got and then the description of what they had to do in order to replace the battery. It took 45 minutes and they called when it was done. I would like to say that I would recommend this Sears Auto Center to everyone. I want to thank Fred and his whole crew for their help last Saturday, good job guys!! Pros: null Cons: null more

high pressure / poor service 7/15/2009

I brought my vehicle in for 2 new tires, an oil change, and an alignment. After I declined the pressured pitch about getting four tires (I repeatedly told them I would purchase two) and the lengthy pitch about synthetic oil and the warranty program, I was told it would take an hour and a half for my requested services. After 2 hours I inquired about my vehicle to find they had not yet started the alignment process (another hour). So it took them 2 hours for an oil change and 2 new tires. I cancelled the alignment.
