While I agree with everyone regarding the dogs. One I have allergies and 2 no one wants to buy scrapbook product with dog hair all over it. Thats disgusting.\r However, as far as walkins using the bathroom customer or not I have to agree with the owners. If you have ever owned yoru own business you know customers just in shopping and use the restroom do nto treat it like they do there home. They pee on the seat and clog it up and never once tell you it happened. Then $200 later you have a fixed bathroom. Once it happens over and over you get a bit tired of repairing. None of the reviews I saw came from a cropper mentioning they could not use the bathroom. However, I have had times in which it was clogged during a store event and i had to wait for a plumber to get there. You can spend as much money as you want and raise prices to do so but if people do not treat it well it will keep breaking no matter how much you spend to fix it. Good and bad 1/11/2011

OMG I thought it was just me. First the pros: Yes, they do have just about everything under the sun that you would want scrapbook wise. I love shopping at this store. I try to go once a month and there are always new goodies to buy. Cons: Dogs are under foot, bathroom may or may not be avail (yes even in 2011), and owner is not very friendly. Very clicky environment and if you are not in the click, forget it. I continue to shop there because they have good prices and great product. more

Scrapbook Territory is good & bad. 11/13/2009

PROS: Great inventory, large selection, the classes are unique & different...when I have the chance, I like to make the trip to the store for some retail therapy. CONS: Parking can be difficult, the iffy bathroom situation (Will it be available to use today? - & can the health department shut down a facility for not having a working bathroom???), the lighting - because of the warehouse building the store is in, scrapping at night can be difficult unless you bring an additional light, the staff can be rude & unhelpful, the dog situation - where the owner & employees let their dogs roam free throughout the store & some of the dogs are not well-mannered & can be destructive. more

My Favorite Store 10/19/2009

I am confused. When ever I visit my daughter, I make a trip to ST and have never had any trouble getting help from staff and I have been able to use the restroom by just asking for the key from the staff. Maybe somethin has changed but I have found it the best store in northern California. more

Not worth it 1/23/2009

Very rude staff. Tried to ask questions and got blown off. Asked the way to the freeway and it seemed to put out the clerk. Specifically wanted SF items and there were very few of them. Had samples pages but not the supplies to make those pages. Asked about other SB stores in the area and told there was none by clerk "NS". Specifically asked about Ben Franklin Crafts in Novato and was told they didn't carry SB items. Went there last evening and they have a much larger selection than SB territory. Would not return to this store EVER! more

room for improvement 11/10/2008

it's the closest SB store to me but i will drive to other cities to shop. i only go there if i don't have time to travel. it's always my last choice. why? because even though i am a dog owner, i don't want a dog underfoot when i shop. other dogs come in and fight over his toys. it's not well lit. OMG! you can't use their toilet! the owner is not friendly and acts like you are bothering her. once i had items in my hand but looking for something and she wouldn't help me find it because she was closing. it has a warehouse feel, like you're in costco. i wouldn't go out of my way to go there. more

The good and the bad 6/1/2008

I've frequented this store a few times a year for several years. Inventory quality and quantity is good and not as stale as many stores. I'm a HUGE scrapbooker, travel a lot and sample stores everywhere I go. This is a very good store with some exceptions. The owner and staff attitude is really poor and lazy. I don't need you to kiss my ass - but really would a smile kill you? I love dogs, but don't think that a scrapbook store is the right place for a dog, and hers is not especially well mannered. My biggest beef would be that they don't let you use the restroom - siting delicate plumbing issues. I will NEVER do a crop in any store where I know I will have to walk a block and stand in line at a Pete's coffee for for a filthy one toilet unisex restroom. Raise your prices and fix the toilet! Give the store a dust and a mop once in a while huh? more

The Biggest store and selection i've ever seen 5/23/2006

There has to be like 4,000sqft of scrapbooking stuff. I am glad that i stopped by. Sections very well organized. Lots & Lots of paper. People are very nice. I loved it, if you are visiting the area and love scrappin', come by this store. The prices are average. more

Absolutely Amazing!!! 4/25/2006

This store is the most amazing place to shop! This is the toy store for all scrapbooking, cardmaking, paper creating junkies around! I absolutely love this store; the staff is super friendly and helpful! I spent an entire day cropping and creating with their 12 x 12 printer with 1000+ computer fonts! It?s a planned drive for me from San Jose, but I can?t wait to go back! PROS: Huge selection of paper craft supplies and more CONS: The large warehouse can get pretty cold- my only complaint! more

They have (almost) everything! 3/15/2006

I'm not a scrapbooker at all. But I do indulge in other collage and assemblage, so this store has a ton of stuff I need all in one location. It truly is a destination store -- I know that people come from all over the Bay Area to shop here. But they have every pen, pad, powder, paper, etc. you could want. The staff could not be nicer -- no attitude here! Thank gawd -- that's a problem other places.\r My gripe is it's often messy and hard to navigate (boxes and junk in the way), and the cement floors are hell on my back. I *am* disappointed that they never seem to order enough copies of Somerset Studio -- they run out right away. Also I've never seen a single copy of Cloth-Paper-Scissors here. Usually those are the items I want most when I drop by this store, and they just ain't there. It's a bit too cutesy-tutti-frutti for me, too, but hey, I can shop around that to get some of the righteous goodies they carry, and have the patient staff explain which inkpad is better and why. more

not worth the trip 11/23/2005

scrapbook terrritory does have a good selection of supplies but it's not worth stepping over dog poop or to have to climb over a dog to look at the stuff. when i do have a need that causes me to go there any way it always feels dirty. the wherehouse like seting is loud and it's hard to look at stuff in one section because there is a class going on or people cropping. more

Great Place 9/26/2005

I was walking with my sisters and we happened to pass by this store. I went in because I always make scrapbooks. It was like heaven inside because there is so much creative things inside. The prices are pretty reasonable. Whenever I am in Berkely, I always HAVE to go there to see if there is anything new in the store. more

The largest scrapbook store int he area 9/8/2005

Good Points about this store. -- Large. This is probably the largest scrapbooking store in the area. -- You can host bitrhday or shower scrapbooking parties here. --They have a lot of classes and also have visiting instructors from a lot of places. So you get to learna lot from a diff set of people. They have classes amost everyday. --Friday night is crop night 7 pm - midnight -- They have good equipment that you can use during classes. more

The only place to Go 5/17/2005

Ok, I admit, this place is the best and biggest. This is TRULY a one stop shop. SBT has EVERYTHING you need for your memory crafts. Every produt line you will find a magazine is here. No more searching store after store to find all the items on your wish list. Customer service CAN NOT be beat. Be sure to check out the classes as well. They are world class and there is something for everyone, no matter what your level of expertise is. This is a destination store worthy of planning your trip around! more
