Their service and repairs were very good. One item I was not happy with was the replacement of my coil, which was under warranty. I paid additional money for my extended warranty. My Lennox Heat Pump coil was leaking. The service tech had found the coolant in the system was low. He had to charge me a fee of about $100 to find the leak. He found that the leak was in the coil under warranty. The fee for locating the leak will not be refunded to me. I'm still upset that I had to pay for a service to find a bad coil under warranty, and the fee isn't covered in the warranty. Also, to keep the warranty in good standings, you have to pay a yearly check-up service fee of $95 even though there are discounts of around $65 for the same service. So, if you have a 10-year warranty, you will be paying almost $1,000 to keep the warranty current, plus additional fees if and when there is a repair performed under warranty. If it makes sense to you, go ahead and use Scottsdale Air and Heating, but expect additional fees even though your heating or cooling unit is under warranty.
