I have been going to this office for many years. The eye exams are thorough and Dr. Carson always presents all your options and considers your budget. The office is very busy but very efficient. I have always been satisfied with the service of the staff. more

I recently changed to Saratoga Vision Assoc. because I was referred to them by another co-worker.\r \r My husband and I were very pleased with our exams we each had a different doctor and must say it was a very thorough exam and tthey offer a heir huge selections of glasses./frames The office staff is very professional and go out of their way to help . \r \r Their evening hours and weekend make it easy for people like us that work during the day.\r \r I would highly recommend them to anyone because of the friendly and profession doctors and staff. My girlfriend and I both go to Saratoga Vision. Dr. Ching is always very accommodating and the staff is always really helpful with picking out frames. My girlfriend just recently started seeing Dr. Griffin to get contacts, and has had a pleasurable experience as well. Very well recommended. I requested a simple letter / statement of warranty policy for my frame & lenses from Saratoga Vision Associates in order to file an extended warranty claim with my credit card company. It took 3 faxes from 3 different locations (all with delivery confirmation) and 3 phone calls over a one month period to hopefully get what I asked for (the last phone call was minutes ago in which I was promised it would finally be resolved). Huge number of pairs of glasses, but they are basically all the same frame--just different brands. Selection is exactly the same as one would find at Empire Vision, except way more expensive. Nothing cutting edge. I now travel to NYC to buy frames and have my prescription filled at Empire Vision for a fraction of the price--same lenses, much faster service and super friendly. I went to Empire Vision for my eye exam today. I got my prescription and started my shopping for lenses. I ended up in Saratoga Vision. The staff was friendly and helped me right away. I told them I was just looking for frames and they didn't pressure. Even after I found the frames I wanted, they didn't pressure like everyone else seemed to today. They got me in and out at a decent price. Still a little high, but I feel like they were worth it. Pros: Friendly staff. Large selection of frames. Cons: A little expensive. more

I have been a client for many years and the service is going steadily downhill. The doctor is frequently interrupted during my eye exams, often times over personal/social isues. Last year I had bought a new pair of glasses that were very expensive and the staff could not get the glasses fitted to my eye (i.e. when I put the glasses on, my eye was looking over the top of the glasses. They were useless to me as I had to bend my neck backwards to see through them... after 3 visits to try to get them to fit better they said ""sorry nothing more they could do."" No offer to replace the glasses or offer new ones. The are ESPECIALLY ill equipped to handle small children. The doctor was RUDE to my 4 year old because he took a little time deciding ""which was clearer one or two"" as the doctor flicked them back and forth very quickly. Okay, the doctors were friendly at the time of service but everytime I called after that to see if my glasses were ready, the rest of the staff were extremely unprofessional. I mean, really they should work on their customer service skills. I would recommend going somewhere else if you hate being talked down to my people who should be happy that they have your busineess. Pros: Doctors are nice and know what they are doing, but other places are better Cons: office staff don't give you the time of day, esp. when you call them!!! more
