Sandberg Northwest Volvo

I NEVER write reviews, but sometimes remaining silent makes you part of the problem. Almost leased one car and my partner almost bought a new one as well. While doing the paperwork, the info from what the salesman said and what finance said varied greatly. Believe me, I asked the salesman straightforward questions. Too much b.s. unfolded and right before signing the final contract, I grabbed my paperwork and said, "I am done. You lied to me. It's called bait and switch and that's illegal." Glad my partner did not sign her new car paperwork first and get stuck supporting such an unethical company. You lost two sales because your petty commission outweighed doing the right thing for the customer. Start doing the right thing and you will be amazed that business can actually prosper. Sam and Stephen, please don't post a comment saying it was a misunderstanding and you want to understand blah blah blah. You know how you spun the truth, so don't try and spin mine. more

I bought my car here almost a year ago and I bought it there because they had a good internet price but when I went to pick it up they were not very friendly. When you buy your car Sandberg offers to give you a free car wash if you stop by. Well I live kind of far away but was in the neighborhood doing some work so I stopped in today. They said that it would take 15-20 minutes. Okay kind of a long time but they hand wash so I said okay. 25 minutes later still no car, they said they had a car in front of mine but I was next and it would be just a few minutes. I only saw 2 people waiting in the waiting area and they were a couple and the guy who was suppose to be in front of me left 3 minutes ago. Another 15 minutes later and I am up to 40 minutes and I inquiry again and say I just can t wait any longer. The gal at the service desk goes to get my car and so it is another 7 minutes and my car was never washed or even touched (47 minutes!). Then they said that well it is a FREE services so I should expect much. Well from a customer perspective if you offer a service then you should be able to provide it in a timely and courteous manner or not offer it at all. Otherwise you get people like me that get upset because it was not taken care of. If you can t handle a simple car wash, I am certainly not taking it there to be serviced. I am very disappointed in this dealership. I own several high end cars and all of the dealers I work with all have exceptional service. They all offer free car washes and usually it is drive through yourself or it takes 5-10 minutes, 15 if they are busy. This place was very disappointing. Going to Brown Bear and spending the $12 to get my car washed. more

NO STARS!!!! This place is a lying, Cheap, Money hungry do anything to get the sale type of place. I JUST bought a 2009 Used car from them and its been 2 (yes 2 weeks), and i have had to put over $1500 in repairs already. When calling them they said that they was no way to determine whether to problem existed before i bought the car....2 weeks... seriously??? more

I've been here a few times and highly recommend bringing your Volvo here for service instead the dealer. I never had good luck with the Volvo dealers and it's difficult to find an honest, fairly priced, and very capable shop like Independent Volvo. Thanks Sandberg NW Volvo more

I can trust Sandberg to address my service needs and proactively identify other needs without recommending me for service in areas that I'm can delay and/or don't require. Exceeded our expectations every step of the way - truly amazing - these guys get how to treat their customers. My wife and I were returning from vacation with our XC90 loaded with kids, dogs and luggage when the Urgent Transmission Service Light came on. We called the Service Department from the highway and were fortunate to be connected with Dave, the Assistant Service Director. Within 20 minutes our vehicle was checked in, our luggage transferred to a courtesy vehicle and we were on our way! As if this wasn't impressive enough, the next day, Dave called to say he had gone to bat for us with the manufacturer and all repairs were covered! Not only that but Volvo has extended their coverage on parts and labor to two years, unlimited mileage as of the start of 2011. Our car now drives and feels like new, and we had it back within a week. We can't express how grateful we are to Dave for taking such great care of us. I brought my wifes XC90 in for service, we had come in for an oil change and rutine service. Natalie totally helped me out, her and the tech found an oil leak and without hesitation called my ext. warranty and got it fixed. When I came to pick up my vehicle it was washed and vacuumed!! Natalie kept me informed throughout the whole process, very proffessional and convienient service. I give them two thumbs up!! more

I brought my wifes 2005 XC90 in for some routine service. My advisor Natalie Simpson (who has been there for over 13 years) helped me out. Not only did she get my service done, but the experience of the shop found a computer upgrade for my transmission! Then she explained that Volvo has FREE check engine diagnosis and 2 years unlimited mileage warranty on repairs. Very Very Happy, Dave B. more
