My Father moved into the dementia area at Northstar in the spring (2013) from another facility where he had lived for 7 years. It was a larger facility and not as convenient for me to visit as the Sanctuary. Because of some negative reviews I was hesitant to make the move. It was the concern and time that Ben spent with me and my family that made us take a chance on this facility and I have not been disappointed. Ben Brackett was the new resident manager at the time and has done a great job with getting things turned around there. He has a real heart for his residents and staff. It is a beautiful facility and with Ben's good leadership and caring staff I expect to see a waiting list in the near future. Some of the caregivers are always smiling and have a real heart for the residents. They are the true backbone of the facility and Ben understands that. I want my father to have all the smiles he can have in his last days. Thanks to Ben, Rose, Andrea, Jane, Judy and all the other smiling faces who make my Dad's life a little better. I pray the Lord will bless you for the care you give those less fortunate than you. \r
