We placed our mother in The Sanctuary a about six years ago in the assisted living side, where she was well taken care of. She was 84 with severe macular degeneration, early alzheimers and used a cane/walker. She liked the food and made good friends. She was hospitalized due to a stroke and sent back to The Sanctuary with home healthcare coming in for physical therapy and speech therapy. She regained her speech though a little slurred, but never regained full use of her legs. Her alzheimers worsened & was transferred to the memory care unit, where they took good care of her and really seemed to love our mother. Our mother died peacefully in her sleep this fall and the caregivers will always have our gratitude for making our mother comfortable to the end. I highly recommend the place.
