I've been to more than my share of restaurants in LA and I must admit this was the most disappointing.\r
First of all, if you can find this place - congratulations! I don't know if it's the fault of Salt Creek or the city, but they should change their address. If you use Mapquest, Google or GPS you will not arrive at the supposed address. It's actually located at the intersection of Sepulveda and Rosecrans, inside a strip mall with Best Buy, Borders and Whole Foods. Yes, this was once a beautiful wetland sanctuary for those of us old enough to remember.\r

There's really nothing spectacular inside, except for a fireplace and some fire pits outside the patio, and some live music (if you get there early enough to hear it). You would find a similar ambience at your local Olive Garden. \r
The menu is expensive, from $12 martinis to $15 appetizers, up to $30 main dishes. For that price you would expect the food to be at least good, but it's mediocre at best. My advice is to save your money and have a nice dinner at Islands or even TGIF to experience the same quality of food. We went on a Saturday and the service or lack of it makes the dining experience less than desireable. Once our waiter took our orders and we didn't see again until he gave us our check one hour later.\r

Pros: Lots of parking spaces\r
Cons: Bad address, poor service, expensive menu, mediocre food
