Salon Monaco Tampa

I decided to go brunette for the first time. I?m naturally a strawberry blonde but I just went for it. I?ve been loyal to Salon Monaco for 3 years now. I go to the salon for hair treatments like keratin smoothing and color correction for my highlights. The staff is just wonderful and I love taking my girl friends to their Spa Caf? where we can just hand out and lay low for a day. Hair extensions next time perhaps? Their services are well worth the money you spend. That?s a guarantee. Now I?m a brunette bombsell! more

Tried their Awapuhi Keratriplex Treatment last week. It worked wonders for my damaged hair since it?s been stressed out from all the dying and styling. It?s not just another hot oil treatment, believe me. My hair felt stronger?no longer brittle. The scalp massage that came along with it was also heavenly. Worth the $40. more

One of my friends told me they were great with make-overs. I didn't want anything too far out. Just a little fresher-upper. They gave her hair a new color. She's brunette and they made it lighter and shorter. They also gave her a full make-up service for our dinner that night. I've never seen her look more beautiful and happy. more

I was attending a wedding of a very dear friend. I had just cut off my hair and wanted to get those long romantic curls. So I did. They gave me shoulder-length hair extensions and they styled it for me too. It was made of natural human hair so it looked very flowy. I liked it a lot. more

I recently decided to have hair extensions and learned that it was not that easy. There are decisions to be made regarding the type of hair extensions and their method of attachment. I did self-research on the matter but I am still doubtful I can make the right decisions. I just wanted to have beautiful locks and we all know how a hair-treatment-gone-wrong can make you want to stay in bed for the rest of your life. My friend recommended this salon in Tampa saying they offer the best hair extension services in town and it is the place I should go for if I want to have extensions. So we went to the salon, got accommodated by the people, and boy did I get nice extensions! Of course, I cannot tell whether their hair extensions is the best. I am not a professional and I cannot give you a detailed report on the material by which their extensions are made. All I can say is that they look very natural on me. If you are looking for a great look and willing to put it in the hands of the person cutting your hair, then this is the place for you. When you get a haircut at Salon Monaco, it's more about the way it looks afterwards than the amount of time cutting your hair that matters. I often find myself not knowing what haircut I want to get next. I admit, sometimes I'm indecisive. I don't want to have to tell somebody how I want my haircut and what I want done to it. I want them to just do what they feel will look great. That's what I love about this place and it has been exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere feels very chill and comfortable, super realistic. It totally alleviates any pre-jitters before getting a cut. It's original, it's fashionable and it's all the rage. I've been coming to Monaco Salon for 9 months and I can't imagine going anywhere else for a haircut. The stylists are very passionate for their work and I've always been treated with respect and care. The management is extremely courteous and always says hello. I especially love the salon's atmosphere (very modern and relaxing). For anyone who is looking for an unforgettable experience at a reasonable price I would strongly recommend choosing Monaco. more

I was hooked on Monaco Salon after just my first visit! It is a pleasant, fun environment with a very nice vibe. The stylists seem more like a family than just coworkers, which makes a big difference. Amy T. is my stylist, and I will never go anywhere else again. She takes her time and does an excellent job. Her shampoo and scalp massage are so relaxing I never want them to end! She recommended shampoo and styling products that have really helped my hair look and feel better. I truly would recommend Monaco Salon to anyone that wants a great cut and style, fun experience, and a great price! more

I have long hair and there is only one stylist I trust it with....Krista at Monaco Salon. She is talented, professional, accommodating, and is a truly great person. I first met Krista 4 years ago when she was in Palm Harbor. I knew I had found someone with the passion and talent needed to make long hair look stunning. I get compliments on my cut constantly due to her talented scissors! She has moved to Monaco Salon, which is quite a distance from my home in Oldsmar....however, I have told her I'll follow her wherever she goes. She has assured me she is here to stay. This makes me happy because the salon is upscale and beautiful while still very reasonably priced. Thank you Krista for taking care of my hair and always listening to what I want. You will be happy here...they are absolutely the best! more

I've been going to Victoria at Monaco for the last couple months now and wouldn't go to anyone else after the amazing experience I've had with her and at Monaco. She has an amazing personality and a gift for hair. Victoria has cut, colored and styled my hair for numerous times and has become my permanent hair stylist. I don't know what I'd do if she moved out of the Tampa area! Victoria is the go to person and I love that she's doing extensions now. Monaco is a beautiful salon that has a great atmosphere and tentative staff. Everyone is so helpful and generous. If anyone is looking for a new stylist or just to try something new, I would definitely recommend going to Monaco... and definitely recommend asking for Victoria!! more

Hello, My name is Kathy and about a week ago I got my hair done at Monaco, AND I couldn?t be HAPPIER, Victoria was my stylist and she is amazing, She listened to what I wanted and helped me understand my hair better, She gave me wonderful color, and the hair cut she gave me is the best I?ve ever had. I have very heavy hair that does nothing and she cut it so now I feel like I have a hair style.she blow dried my hair so well she even, showed me how to style my hair. She showed me how to hold the blow dryer and work with a brush so I could learn how to style my hair at home. I?ve never had a stylist before walk me thru how to style my hair and it was my favorite part of my visit. The salon itself is beautiful, the staff was so nice and I felt so welcome, everyone said hello to me and made me feel so comfortable. I?m loving my hair, and I?m so happy I have a new stylist I trust to do my hair the way I want. more

I LOVE this salon! I have fine and thin hair so I started getting Great Lengths extensions 4 yrs ago. I started at a Salon in Largo, however the extensions would not stay in my hair. I travel quite a bit so I decided to spend the money and get my hair done in Beverly Hill at the Kim Vo Salon....well, I thought I found the best until I found Krista (not to mention her cost is half the price!). I have been going to Krista at Salon Monaco now for over 2 years and there is not enough space to explain how impressed I am with her work and her salon. I have watched her grow as an independent to running a full scale salon that I feel comfortable recommending my family and friends to. My husband (who is the ultimate metrosexual and worse about his hair than I am) is now a regular at Monaco as well as my nephew. Since I get my extensions done regularly I get to really observe the interactions in the salon. I can honestly say I have seem some amazing transformations with cut and color from all of the stylists. I would also like to state that Krista has been the only stylist (yes, even better than Kim Vo!) to get my hair the pretty blonde I've always wanted without gold or brassiness. I can not stress enough how creative Krista and her stylists are and not to mention caring. The prices are more than reasonable and I've been to every major salon in Tampa. Seriously for me to be here more than 2 years and I am not going anywhere says a lot about a salon! more

Based upon reviews I decided to patronize this salon. Service was on time, however, I am totally displeased with the outcome. Yesterday was my appt and today my hair looks like a bird nest. I have never experienced such bad results, especially for the premium paid at this facility. more

My hair just hasn't been looking right for a while (thanks to my last hair cut) but because I'm extremely attached to my long hair, I'm terrified of going to a stylist who does what THEY want as opposed to doing what I want. I usually visit a new hair salon only after taking a recommendation from a friend (where I've seen the work of the stylist). But this hasn't worked out the past couple of times so I decided to do some online research which led me here. After reading the glowing reviews for Salon Monaco, I called and was able to get an appointment with no problem. The salon itself is ridiculously beautiful and the entire staff is super friendly (and everyone is gorgeous) :-) Victoria hands down gave me the best cut of my life (yes, of my life). She didn't just sit me down in her chair and pretend to listen to me. She actually sat me down and looked over my hair before it had been washed and asked me tons of questions about my hair and how I maintain it. It sounds pretty silly thinking about this now but shouldn't this be standard practice? It hasn't been in all my years of visiting hairstylists so I was particularly impressed from the start.
