I've been seeing Melissa for over 3 years and love what she does for my hair. I've also indulged in several other services and really enjoy myself every time I go. Andrea is a creative genius with nails, Patricia does wonderful massages, Naomi and her facials are a true blessing. I've recommended the place to all my friends and at times, we do a ladies night there. The staff is wonderful in all areas. They remember you and always make you feel welcome and special. It's a great break from the normal reality dealt with on a daily basis. more

Emailed a potential style, for me, to Melissa. She said yes, get in here. She cut and styled my hair. I loved it and hoped I could style it too. She cut it perfect, and I can style it. I also loved the neck massage and hand massage. Definitely felt pampered!! more

OK, here's the deal. If you are needing an escape from the hustle and bustle of the stress of the real world then this is the place to come. I don't want to sound like an advertisement or anything, but from the moment you walk into Ciao Bella you can almost feel the relaxation begin! I decided to get the full deal before I went back to work offshore...I was welcomed with a pleasant smile! Andrea gave me a great manicure, followed by a fantastic massage as well as some reflexology by Matthew. I then enjoyed a delicious lunch before the most amazing facial with Naomi. I've never had one before, but I can assure you of this...it most certainly will not be my last! Melissa shampooed and cut my hair with such amazing skill that I will now be a regular of hers. I hope you heed my advice and get to this place soon...it is worth waaaaay more than I paid! I found Salon Ciao Bella by wonderful accident. The staff is always very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Melissa is the best stylist, and a genious with hair color. She is very knowledgable, and excited about her job. I heard about Salon Ciao Bella through a friend, and I had an appointment with Anna who is Fabulous by the way!! She did the most beautiful hair extentions, My color was impecable, and I felt like a movie star when I left! The staff was some of the nicest people I have ever met, and my best friend came with and had a day of beauty, Massage, nails, hair, facial, which she bragged about all of it, and Melissa did her hair and it was also fabulous!! I take both of my children to Melissa and I highly recommend her and her staff. I would never have thought to take kids to such a fancy place for haircuts, but its worth it. Our first experience at a kids cut place was aweful. Melissa assured me this was not normal. She allowed me to sit in the chair with my 15 month old and he was able to relax. She's so gentle. My 13 year oldlooks forward to going because they give her special attention. I highly recommend this salon and day spa to all ages and I can assure you you will have a wonderful experience. All of the girls there are so sweet and welcoming. My son can be a handful and I've never gotten the feeling he is a bother. The stylists and all employees are the most friendliest you will ever meet. The experience is the best from the time you walk in the to door to the time you leave. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and can actually cut your hair the way you describe. I haven't had anyone layer my hair this good in literally 10 years! They are all very personable and make you fell at home. I'm definitely going back! Pros: They really do listen to what you want! more

Patricia does the best job ever. I use to go to Lake Austin Spa but now I'm totally loyal to Patricia. She really makes me skin look and feel good. I've also had a massage and pedicure there - all are terrific. I have no complaints. I look forward to my monthly visit - it's relaxing and I'm always thrilled with my hair afterwards. What I really like is that I can either ask for my hair to be done a certain way, or give my stylist the freedom to choose based on what she sees would look good on me - with both options I've been very pleased. There is only one word for this salon... Amazing. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave they make you feel welcome, important and appreciated. The hair wash and head massage is a sweet little moment of pure relaxation. Melissa has been coloring/highlighting/lowlighting my hair for about 3 years... when I have to reschedule my appointment Tiffany steps in and picks up just like Melissa. I have had so much trouble finding a place that I felt comfortable going to that could do everything from hair to nails, massage to waxing. I think by now I have used every service they have to offer and have always left there feeling relaxed and pampered. Usually I will just go in and tell Melissa or Tiffany (I see both) to do what ever they want, what ever will look new, fun and good… I have never been disappointed! Most recently I decided to go from normal highlights and dieing to the other extreme and went from light brown hair to Black and Pink!!! It was so FUN!!! They knew exactly what they were doing throughout the entire process. I will never look for another salon as long as I am in Austin!!! I followed Melissa as her client from her previous salon. She has been the MOST wonderful stylist and colorist I have ever had. I get comments and questions weekly about my cut and color. She makes me look and feel younger, and I'm truly comfortable with my hair. Every time I've asked for a change, she encourages me, and helps me find just what I'm looking for. She knows my preferences, but what's more, she knows me. She remembers what we talk about, asks about my family, etc. and keeps up with my life. It's a rare thing, but after years of going to Melissa, she probably knows me better than most of my friends. I LOVE MELISSA! The rest of the staff are awesome too! They always know my name, are friendly and helpful. And I love getting my hair washed! They massage my neck and head...OMG! I'd go there just for that! Always amazing! Bottom line, if you want to feel pampered, cared for, remembered and special, you need Salon Ciao Bella. LOVE YOU GALS! I am very picky about my hair. I also have a skin problem that makes sitting under a dryer impossible. Melissa immediately understood my problem and always goes to extreme lengths to make sure my highlights are perfect. I will never go to another salon. I am so confused,why is this place even categorized in 4 stars compared to other surrounding salons.Going by reviews and video I completely got fooled into coming here.Very inexperienced staff and a hepa crit as a owner,Tiffany lied from the first hello of introduction,Attention all reviewers do not let that fake sweet,godly innocent front fool you.She is evil and her salon is filled with bad people.I received a certificate in the mail which they did honor but I feel because it was free i was treated like trash,as if I was looking for some handout...Little do they know I have many connections and actually have to my own business.I was indeed looking for a new stylist but after the worst hair cut of my life and suppose to have been by a lead stylist.I tried to explain to her that the haircut was not nothing like the picture I brought,she argue that it was and after speaking to tiffany explaining to me well it was free?Hum..if that's how you handle criticism from clients you have alot learn.Most of all there is nothing GODLEY here.He knows your lies and your true colors and let me just say fear him,you can only cover up for so long before you are exposed for who you are.Hypocrite and give true christians a bad name Pros: shampoo was nice Cons: my stylist and massage more
