Sac Cycle Dismantling

Interesting comments. I wish I had read them before buying anything here. The customer service is terrible. I brought a bike from this establishment and when I brought it in for a tune-up it caused the motor to burn out within a couple of weeks, then when I brought it back in to find out what had happened they let it sit in their shop for months. I gave up and got it but it was returned missing parts. Just for asking for the parts back, the establishment lied and started calling me names. I gave up trying to get my parts back and would recommend everyone steer clear of this place. If you have any doubts about this post, check out the BBB. It takes a lot of work to get an ""F"" rating. Absolutely an extra $49.00 and tax was paid. Reminder the trunks are painted the same color as the actual scooter (whether it's pink, baby blue, black, white or green.) They were 100% paid for and they come with the scooter. Try to call SAC CYCLE to order a separate trunk and see what they say? They do not carry the trunks separately. The trunks COME WITH THE SCOOTER, so how can you order it extra for $49.00? They have another shipment due soon of scooters with only one (Black one) left on the showroom floor. They are hoping this next shipment arrives with the trunks and the same thing doesn't happen with this new shipment. However if you want the last black scooter, it's available for sale. But you will have to wait for the matching black trunk, just like all the other past customers. \r When the new shipment of scooters arrive, and the trunks are there. Let's see if the scooters are sold with the trunks or missing? The cost of the scooter 100% includes the matching trunk. My perception of the feeback absolutely shows the negative being pushed down. I walked into Sac Cycle after leaving Rancho Cycle, as usual I was in a bad mood after leaving rancho Cycle, I wanted to punch they guy in the face. The guys at Sac Cycle were in a good mood cracking jokes and in no time we were joining in. they had the fuel pump I needed more

I bought a scooter from Jim at sac cycle and after having it a week I accidentally left my key on and killed my battery. I know it was my fault and called to see how I could get it in for them to replace my battery. Jim sent an employee to my house he picked up my scooter took it to the shop and charged my battery and did a full service because I has 300 miles on it. They had told me I got 5 years of free oil changes but I knew the battery was my fault. I was blown away when Jim called and said it was all done and when I asked what the bill was he said NO CHARGE !!! I cant imagine any other shop doing a house call for free. These guys are over the top !! more

The staff at Sac Cycle are some of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I have ever encountered I walked in not sure what part I needed for my motorcycle as a novice I was relying on what a friend told me was wrong with my bike. I first went to Rancho Motorcycle and they were going to sell me an electrical part for my CBR for $ 185.00 a customer who was standing there told me about Sac Cycle and that they were a lot cheaper. Not only was the part $ 125.00 at Sac Cycle, after a brief explanation of what my bike was doing the owner, Jim, told me I did not need the part and told me how to fix it for free, It was something to do with the kickstand switch. These guys could have made $ 125.00 off of me but instead they put the customer first and they were right. Two wires and it was done FREE.\r I love this shop.. they have my business for life !!!!\r more

Sac Cycle is a top notch operation. I brought my Kymco in to have service done on it. The dealership that sold it to me said the motor was bad and it would be over $ 1000.00 to repair it. I called Sac Cycle for parts and they suggested I bring it in first. They found it was a simple valve job and I was back on the road for $ 65.00. I looked at their scooters while I was there and they were every bit as nice as my $ 4800.00 Kymco and they were only \r $ 1199.00. I bought one for my wife and it out runs my Kymco and the service is a lot better as well. Keep up the good work Guys.\r more

These guys are the best shop in town. I have had nothing but great experiences with them.\r The prices are by far lower than and motorcycle shop I have dealt with and the Owner\r Is a sweet guy who bends over backwards for you. They fixed my bike for less than\r Half of what the dealer quoted me and got it done in two days. Great Job Will send every one I know there \r more

Time to call KURTIS on this place. Stay away from ""SAC Cycle"" (Jim-the owner). We bought a few scooters from SAC cycle and was promised the trunk for both 3 months ago. He explained how the trunks were not in the shipment crates and were being sent separate. He promised no more then 1 to 2 weeks. It has been almost 3 months now and no trunks. He originally made up excuses, but now has resorted to just saying ""NO"" out loud when we ask if the trunks have arrived. He now hangs up on us after saying ""NO"" He asked to put me on hold once and must of forgot to put me on hold. I could hear his conversation in the back ground, talking to another person. He was so angered about getting the phone calls for the trunks and said ""don't they realize they won't ever get the trunks and why won't they stop calling"" It's not just us, it's every customer who was promised a trunk for their new scooter. Had we done our research on www.yelp and www.sacramento.citysearch we would have never purchased these scooters from their establishment. \r The entry in city search saying SAC Cycle is the best place- is someone that either works there or the owner to refute the negative comments posted.\r We have read the enormous amount of negative comments/feedback on SAC cycle, including folks who are having the same issue as us. Please do not buy or have anything repaired from SAC Cycle. Purchase products and have your items serviced from a reputable and trustworthy business. NOT SAC CYCLE. \r WE ONLY PICKED a ONE STAR rating because you have to pick something in order for this to post. You cannot leave this entry with zero stars. This is the worst scooter shop in the entire world. First of all when you walk in the door you are treated like dirt. The owner and employees act like they are to good to help you. I had a scooter that I took in for service and after telling me it was not really worth fixing they gave it back to me disasembled and did not bother to keep all the bolts and screws. Also they would not stop arguing with me about my battery becuase they had never seen it before, I work in the motorsports industy so I know alot about new products and bought this battery for my scooter. From CV4 great little battery that did the job just fine.\r \r I am pretty sure the shop just wanted me to by a new battery. Overal the worst part about this shop is just how rude everyone there is. There are plenty of other scooter shops out there, I would try one of them. \r \r I would give no stars if I could. more

After reading the couple of bad reviews here, I felt the need to set things straight about these guys because for over five years I've done business with Sac Cycle and I've always gotten nothing but good service from them. totally satisfied. I've even purchased my bike there and man have been so happy. Jim and JJ are the BEST! I recommend them totally!!! more

These guts came through fur me with flyihg colors! I called for a wuote on an engine and it was close to half the price of the other guys. I showed up to buy it and it turned out the engine they quoted me on would not fit in my bike . Big red flag went up. They did locate the one I needed but that was a very low mi motor (less than 500 mi) These guys stood behind their original quote and gave me the low mi motor for the same price! Hell after that I decided to have them do the install. All went well and for a good price! Been back since and alwats leave with a grin! i ordered my parts on a saterday they told me they ship out that day it turns out they shipped four days later i called them every day trying to get a tracking number and all i could get was a bunch of crap i will never order anything from this place agian and hope no one else has to deal with this shit Cons: nothing more

They are a Rip Off!!!! I was told that I was getting a motor out of a GSXR 1000, when I got the motor, I could see right away that it was not a 1000. When I called Jim (the owner) he kept insisting that the motor was a 1000 and that he watched them take it out of the bike. So I went to a Suzuki dealership and had them run the VIN. Turns out it's a 599cc engine that was put in a GSXR 600 and shipped to the US from the Suzuki Factory. Now I'm trying to get my money back and have had to file a dispute thru my credit card company. The guy is a liar. What ever you do, don't buy anything from this company. Cons: You don't get what you pay for more
