SOS Xtreme Comfort

I've lived in my current home for 27 years and SOS is my third and longest fuel oil provider. The customer service is excellent, honest, and reliable. I also appreciate the included oil additive to prevent freezing in the outdoor tank that was also installed by SOS. Keep up the great work! Bob was a great salesman with a lot of knowledge about going green. He answered every question I had and gave great advise as to what I needed to upgrade my central heating and cooling system. During the final precheck visit we discovered I had made an error on the contract I signed and SOS was able to fix the error and ensure I got the system I wanted. the installation crew was friendly, courteous, and quick. Awesome, Professional, respectful, that's what I have to say about the installation team from SOS that installed my new furnace. First of all they were a few minutes earlier then the scheduled time (when's the last time that happened to you ? ) Next they were respectful ( insisted on putting down drop clothes even though I told them they didn't need to) Lastly they were professional. ( cleaned up everything, you can't even tell they were here. Showed me and explained how my new furnace works and answered all of my questions) I will definitely recommend SOS to anyone and everyone!!!!!!!!!!! more

Had my unit serviced today,by Steve,from SOS. I was extremely pleased with his thoroughness,the quality of the cleaning and service as well as his attention to customer satisfaction! He provided superior service and left my furnace in sparkling condition when he left.. Big improvement over my experience last year with SOS tech,who appeared to go through the motions of servicing the unit,but left furnance area dirty and left me wondering if the unit was serviced properly at all! What a difference in this service experience..!I will request Steve to do my servicing next year! Thanks for a job well done. more

SOS did not service my furnace properly when I first moved a year ago. We were running out of oil every three months and because we miss one payment they removed us from automatic refill. I ran out of oil on the coldest days in January and February and they refused to come to my home to fill my tank because we owed them $200. I have a four year old and I am pregnant and I practically had to beg them to do the right thing. They recently debited money out of my account without authorization and again I had to fight to get my money back. When I asked them if they were planning to come to bring my oil they said I would be charged another fee if I wanted them to come today. I had 5 different companies come into my home to look at my furnace and everyone said that the first service that was done was not done property and that my values were turned so that I would use more oil then needed. When I called SOS about this in February they said the service manager would call me to discuss it and he never did. When I asked for some sort of credit because I then had to pay another company to come in and fix their mistake SOS called me a liar and refused to do anything. They are crooks and all they care about is getting their money. Their customers are not their priority. Stay away from them at all costs! more

Everyone else said they couldn't come out to do an annual service if I didn't buy fuel right away...this company said they could come out ASAP and service the tank and furnance. I had my annual service done, no fuel bought, I even got a super low price on propane! He fixed all the pieces that were rusted from the storm, changed the filters, checked everything twice from top to bottom. So happy with them. more

However, if you are looking for professionalism, excellent service, a family business oriented company that works with you and for you, then SOS Extreme Comfort is the company for you. Our family has been dealing with SOS now for over 10 years. SOS supplies our oil heating needs, they have provided excellent serviced in installing our boiler and hot water heater, and are always there for us to lend an ear and to provide extreme comfort and professional service. SOS Extreme Comfort is located in Tuxedo, New York. Their phone number is 845 351 4700. Everyone we have dealt with in our 10 year plus experience has been polite, friendly, informative and professional. We feel that we can count on them to provide the best service in our area. Just a few things that we really like about some of their programs: * SOS provides us with automatic delivery for our heating oil and a monthly budget plan that works. These are services that we enjoy. We will never risk running out of heating oil and we can budget the expense to heat our home each year. Plus, they provide excellent service. * SOS provides a price cap program that can give us more control on how much we spend on our heating oil. We can sign up for their price cap program and be reassured that we will not pay more than we have to pay for our heating oil, by locking in on a maximum price per gallon. But if the price is lower, SOS always gives us that lower price. Many times we watched the price soar and were so very grateful that we locked in with the price cap program and did not have to pay the additional amounts * When you sign up for their yearly service contracts, the yearly cleaning is included. The service contact we have also includes labor and many replacement parts. We cannot always choose what will happen in life. However, we can choose to have a company like SOS Extreme Comfort provide us with the best service and deal with family and customer oriented business that always values their customers and places their needs first. We've been using SOS Fuels as our heating oil provider for many years. Never had a problem, always reliable. Last night my husband noticed we had no hot water. Did a few things, couldn't find anything wrong. Last thing he did was check our fuel tank. Out of fuel. Caleed SOS fuels at 9:45 intending to leave a message on their machine to call us in the morning when they open to deliver us some heating oil. Nope! A gentleman from SOS Fuels was here 15 minutes later, at 10pm and gave us enough heating oil to start the furnace. Then he started up the heater. The fuel truck was at my house with a delivery at 7:00 am this morning. NOW THAT'S SERVICE!!! We will be customers forever!!!!! Thank you!!! more

I had an issue with the boiler at my business, so I went after some quotes. SOS Xtreme Comfort came over, and I figured a company like that would be really high in pricing since they're a big outfit, but they gave me a better deal than anybody else plus two years of service. I couldn't have asked for more. Everybody was so nice, and when they left, you could eat off the floor it was so clean. When taking out a 700-pound boiler, you have to be really careful about moving everything out of the way beforehand. They moved stuff out of the way that I didn't even notice obstructing and put everything back in its place when they were done. It was a really great experience. And I'm in the service business, so I know how important customer satisfaction really is. more
