Route 44 Medical Walk-In

I had gone into the Route 44 Medical Walk-In to seek assistance for my neck and back, as it has been excruciatingly in pain and was refused to be seen by the woman at the front desk. She was quite rude and focused more on her computer screen as to hear my story. She interrupted me, told me the offices were closed on Friday (it's TUESDAY) and said I wouldn't be able to get a follow-up... terrible.... overworked doctors in a prick assisted building. more

So I went to Rt44 Medical for a pre-apployment drug test. when i got there, i was the only one in the waiting room. i checked in, filled out the paperwork and gave my id. the woman at the desk had an attitude, and kept giving me nasty looks. after about an hour of waiting(i also had my 3 week old infant with me), i went up to the receptionist and nicely ask how much longer it would be. she replyed, ""uh, a while."" i said, ""im sorry, why?"" she then tapped on the glass pointing to a notice that stated ""due to new computer systems it make take up to 1 hour."" i said, ""i see that but i dont understand why it will take longer than 1 hour to pee in a cup"". she replyed with ""Well, it doesnt work that way"". she then said i should be taken soon. after waiting about another 15 minutes the woman called me in. she told me i would have to leave my 3 wk old with her while i went to the bathroom. i proceeded to inform her i wassnt comfortable with that, but i understand why, and asked her if i could just take off my daughters jacket. she told me no, i'd just have to come back. i said fine, i just want to go so i left her in the doorway with this woman i had never seen in my life. then, of all things, i could not pee. so she told me to grab a glass of water and when i was done i could have up to 3 more, just ask the receptionist. the first time i asked this receptinsit, she huffed and puffed and got me another glass. a few minutes later i ask her for one more. she tells me ""im busy, you are going to have to wait."" so, i sat down w/out a word. i then called my sister to come sit with my child so i didnt have to leave her with a stranger.when she got there she saw how rude they where, and i had already been waiting 2 hrs with an infant, just to pee in a cup. so she went and asked them,when i was going to be taken. they extremely rudely explained it would be a while. after two hours of waiting, i finally got in and out. it took me all of 3 minutes to piss in a cup. the waiting is one thing, but its another when these woman act like they do, especially when you are being perfectly nice. i WILL writea complaint not to the manager (obv. she does nothing with the complaiints), but to her higher up as well. more

I am a regular client of Rt44. I find the staff to be fine. What appalled me was the rudeness of the people coming in to the walk in. Swearing loudly as part of routine conversation, sometimes to friends, family or children, use of cell phones when signs clearly ask that they not be used, swearing at the secretaries, when they are trying to help, calling the secretaries liars, and refusing to follow directions are just a few of the things I've witnessed on a regular basis. I have seen people push elderly people out of their way and not seem to care. Would these patients like it if they were treated the same way? No. Pros: wonderful care, convenience, and friendly. I made an immigration physical appointment here for my husband same day I called and was initially very excited by the willingness of the staff to assist. When we arrived the receptionist asked who was being seen. I gave my husbands name, she asked mine then proceeded to ask if I was being seen. I again gave my husbands name she sighed and asked for a photo ID. We gave her his photo ID then she argued with me that we were told to bring a passport. (which we weren't) When I told her we weren't and asked for another appt. She threw around her appointment book and muttered. ""WELL I DON""T BELIEVE THAT YOU WEREN""T TOLD TO BRING A PASSPORT"". I am sorry, but I will not visit a place where I am called an outright liar and treated like dirt. I obtained another same day appointment in Hanover and we were treated VERY well. If you are dying don't stop here they won't do anything but argue and raise your bloodpressure for you to kick sooner.... If you aren't dying find a reputable drs office that treats patients with respect. more

Go to the emergency room if you have a true issues. This place provides terrible medical care. I went in on Saturday for an infection. They took bloodwork and said they'd get back to me on Monday. It's Wednesday and I had to chase them down for the bloodwork that they say came back negative. Meanwhile I went to the ER. Doctors there were very concerned and started me on IV antibiotics for the infection. Cons: misdiagnosed - didn't follow-up when they said they would more

I went there a couple of times and found myself in the same situation over and over again. Staff is very rude and racist..Especially that blonde lady at the front desk and that portugese b*** with curly hair. They laughed at my problem instead of solving it. Waiting time is more than an hour everytime i go there. more

the sandy blond older lady at the front desk was rude when checking me in threw my insurance card on her desk in a huff, she was stress out about something. more
