The pick up is quite regular. They pick up bulk items any time. If they spill, they don't pick up. What they want for recycle is not clear to me.

Spill everywhere, never on time, argumentative when u complain...this just about sums it up. They forgot to pick up my trash and would NOT come back and get it, nothing is EVER their fault...wishing for another alternative!! more

Bad billing department 2/5/2011

I never received my bill by mail. I only realized this when my trash was not picked up but everybody else was picked up on my street. I called them and they said my bill was not paid. I sent double what the bill was that day. My trash was picked up the next week. I thought every thing was fine. This morning I heard something, looked outside and they drove off with the trash can. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. This is the only bill which I can not see my account on line and they now have been paid way in advance. I will let you know what happens when I call them monday morning. more

They have stole are can ,saw them take it just check craigs list they are selling what they find ,which I dont care about but they are loading things on the trash truch to take home my can was a Texas Longhorn can.They use are cans to pick up the nasty spilled peoples stuff thats spilled and not in bags.They even found a BB gun they ran around in the yard shooting it.The items such as a neighbors tv they thru away they cared to another neighbors that was not at home and plugged it in.They throw the trash cans back and forth over and on the cars.And management dont do anything about the crappy service. Cons: They are just plain out right lazy and dont care!!!!!!!!! more

Always on time and never had a problem. Would love online bill pay, but other than that we haven't had a single problem. more

A Horrible Company 1/15/2009

They charge you for recycling, spill trash all over the street when they dump, and break trash cans. Having this company as my waste provider has been an abysmal experience. Cons: Everything. Abysmal. more

Archaic and backwards 8/8/2008

Terrible customer service/relations. Not only do you pay for the service, you provide your own additional cans beyond the provided uncovered box. When they fail to pick up (50% of the time), Round Rock Refuse blames the customer. RRF is for the dark ages--find another means to keep our environment clean because RRF is NOT helping. Cons: Terrible service!!!! more

I have a problem 4/16/2008

Thank you RRR for the new trash can, first. My trouble is this sight won't let us view out bills. I have not received a bill from you all since May 2007. I have called the office there, no help. checked my mail carefully, checked with neighbors, called the Post Office, sent blind payments and don't know whether I paid too much or too little. Pros: happy workers and efficient Cons: website won't view bills, No bill for 1whole year, something is up. more

Round Rock Refuse Horror Story 3/27/2008

We have had to call numerous times to have them pickup sacks which were either on the curb not the street or just not picked up for no apparent reason. Recycling is even worse. Our worst experience was when our son put some spent oil containers in the trash. They put it under the wheels of our vehicle so when we backed out it exploded all over the car, sidewalk and yard. Their response, don't put oil in the trash. My response, let's get another trash service for North Austin Mud #1. Pros: Sometimes they pick up the trash Cons: Sometimes they don't or worse more

RoundRock recycling program needs great improvement! 2/25/2008

The regular refuse service is consistent and timely. I have never gotten my scheduled recycling picked up with out complaining! It is supposed to be picked up on Fridays. This time I actually refrained from calling and now I am on my 5th week of no pick up. They are still sending me a bill! Recycling needs to be encouraged and supported by the city, not discouraged. This is not a new program and desperately needs more feedback to get these guys on the ball! more

I DISAGREE with previous review 3/26/2007

We actually have just recently replaced our trash cans, more so out of courtesy to the refuse collectors. We had been using the same two plastic cans since moving in 7 years ago, and even then, they came with the house, and had been already used for I don't know how long. Anyway, the bottoms of the cans were giving way, and the handles long gone. Essentially we replaced them so it would be easier for them to pick up. I think if they have a habit of throwing down people's trash cans, ours wouldn't have lasted for so many years! more

Avoid this company, if possible! 2/16/2007

Very disappointed in the care taken with residential trash containers. The workers throw them to the ground after emptying them and I've have to replace 1 container and 2 lids due to their carelessness. If you have an alternative, investigate that before using this company. Cons: Carelessness with other people's property more
