Various odd jobs fixed-excellent work and service 6/8/2010

I had to have a few different odd jobs done that I had Roto-Rooter come and fix. New kitchen sink installation, ice maker installation, upgrade of our main line, a few leaks and a tub that needed fixing to just name a few. The plumber was very nice and did a wonderful job of explaining everything and answering all of my questions. He did a great job of fixing everything in a timely manner and the price I believe was very reasonable. I would definately use them again and have already told my friends about him since he did such a great job. I put 4 stars just because he could have swept the floor afterward and made a better effort to clean each area better but honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal. I would still go to them for service again. more

My service appointment was great. They really go out of their way to explain what's going on with the problem, in my case toilets/pipes. Though pricing may be an issue for some folks that have written, just remember - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Of course there are different experiences with varying servicemen, but just going on my experience, I would definitely use these guys for anything that I couldn't do myself. more

Second experience with roto-rooter. This time we needed a new water heater installed and our gas lines updated to code. Service was professional and prompt. Serviceman explained what he needed to do to update lines to code. Problems I had was that it cost more than I was expecting...they did not take away the old water heater(not that big of a deal because someone picked it up later that night)...took longer than expected since the man did not have all the parts he needed. more

Called Roto-Rooter @ 7:45 am on 04/08/10 and Joe Sewar was here by 8:00 that samesame day. Joe replaced our drain pipes and had us up and running in no time. Thanks Joe. Pros: fast efficient professional Cons: cost more

Very satisfied with recent Roto-Rooter services in Rochester 4/4/2010

This is our second experience with Roto-Rooter, and again we are very pleased. As before the Roto-Rooter professional came out right away and listened to us about our plumbing problems. This time it was two broken outside hose faucets and inside shut-off valves. He carefully studied the situation and provided us with a detailed solution, including price estimate and time to complete the work. Even though he ran into some minor, unforeseen issues, the small, extra amount of time and additional parts were not added on to the original estimate. The job was done to our complete satisfaction. We trust Roto-Rooter for all of our plumbing need and drain service needs. Thank you Roto-Rooter! Pros: Skilled professional, honest, fair price for work Cons: None! Will call again. more

Roto-Rooters came out right away within the hour late evening when we had an emergency plumbing problem. Their guy was friendly and helpful in explaining our situation to us. He was fast and efficient. Their guarantee is such a piece of mind. We will be calling them again if we have any future plumbing issues in our home. Our techs name was Paul ,he was a very nice man. We are first time home buyers so there are obviosly lots of things that we are still learning. Paul was very helpfull and full of lots of great advice.(Thanks Paul) The one thing I can say is that the job was definetly done well but.... the price was very high! So I hope that we will never have to have this done again. lol Paul was also nice enough to honor the $20.00 coupon that you guys have on the web even though our printer was broken. The only reason why I give a rating of 3 stars is due to the price,other than that the job was done well and great customer service from our tech Paul. I was also very surprized that you guys were able to come so fast. Pros: did the job Cons: pockets broke more
