Called for a plumber when I woke up to what sounded like a river rushing under my home in Rochester. Turned out I needed a new sump pump (as evidenced by the rising water in my basement), and the gentleman who installed it for me really knew his stuff. He even made friends with my dog! :) All in all, a good experience. No more rushing rivers, and a happy puppy to boot. more

February 3, 2014 Roto-Rooter Plumbers\r I had a problem with raw sewage coming in to a downstairs shower that started on Sunday. I decided to wait till Monday to call for HELP!, i called a local plumber at 8am Monday morning and wasn't able to reach him, I called again at 1pm still no answer or returned phone call. So I called Roto-Rooter and with them base in Rochester I was hoping that they could make it out sometime in the afternoon. The office was very helpful and to my surprise I was told a representative would be out with-in the hour, and they were! Mark my Roto-Rooter rep got started right away, he diagnosed the problem in a timely fashion. and advised me of what was happening, then proceeded to alleviate the problem. Thank You Roto-Rooter and Mark! more

I had to call on a Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm to get a plumber out to clear out a stopped up drain in the basement of a rental property. I got a person on the phone right away and she told me someone would be available between 2pm and 4pm - I got a call back at 1pm saying the on-call plumber was on his way. It wasn't cheap by any means (what plumber is?) but I was able to get someone over on a Sunday within an hour of calling and he fixed the problem in 90 minutes. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers March 11, 2013.\r \r I awoke this morning to a leak in my kitchen from the bathroom. I called Roto-Rooter and they dispatched Justin to my home within minutes. Justin was able to make an initial assessment in about 20 minutes and called for back up help given the scope of what he perceived he need to do. Within 2.5 hours the problem was found and fixed. Both he and his partner were courteous and professional; explaining everything they were doing along the way. They did a great job cleaning up! Whenever I need service from Roto-Rooter I am reminded why they have been and continue to be my # 1 choice for plumbing services. I recommend them without hesitation! more

Roto Rooter got there within the hour even though not an emergent issue which was great. Very experienced plumber /gentleman who took care of it in relatively short order. I feel like they feel you out to see how much they can charge you though. I was able to negotiate down a little bit but still a bit overpriced.....even as far as plumbing goes in Rochester. Either way very happy with service itself. I had spent $80 on snakes, chemicals, home remedies only to clear it temporarily. Overall great experience, I wasn't obligated to have them do the work, no pressure sales at least. more

Called Roto-Rooter and they were there within two hours. Fast, and courteous, they quickly fixed the drain problem. Pricing was upfront and honest and they were done within 30 minutes. We had to finally give in and call a plumbing service today after two days of trying to unplug our basement drain. Rotorooter was the first one I looked up on line we called and the young lady that answered the phone was very helpful she said she could get someone here within the hour.That did indeed happen the gentleman that showed up was such a wonderful and caring man he took one look and knew what need to be done.I have never meet such an understanding gentleman as he was once we approved the job he got right to it. It was done in a very timely manner .I will recommend Roto-Rooter to everyone I know they are top on my list . If we ever need one again Roto-Rooter will be our first call.Thanks again we could not of done it with out you and the price was very affordable.The gentleman that did the job is a real asset to you company. Whenever we need a plumber in the Rochester Area we call Roto-Rooter. We have always gotten excellent service including our most recent experience. We arrived home on a Saturday from a week's vacation to find our sump pump had stopped working. Fortunately the basement was not flooded but the sump was overflowing and the basement was very damp. We immediately called Roto-Rooter and Marc arrived one hour later to fix the problem. He got our sump pump operational again returning once to verify that it was still working properly. At our request, he returned first thing Monday morning to replace the sump pump which we were afraid might fail again. What a relief to know that help is just a phone call away 24/7. more

Used Roto-rooter when I needed a plumber in Rochester to clean and inspect the sewer line out to the street. Suspected tree root issues and Derrick quickly cleaned out the pipe and also diagnosed an additional issue with a broken tile. Quick, clean, and professional. more
