Roto-Rooter Plumbers 5/12/12 5/13/2012

The Plumber, who serviced my Pittsburgh home, ""Bill"", was professional and explained everything. Obviously knew what he was doing. The price, however, for a very quick and routine drain unclogging was over the top, laugh out loud, out of the ballpark. Don't know how they can ask for it with a straight face. Would only use again if the situation was very desperate. more

Disgusting, Dirty Job 4/23/2012

Sunday morning we woke up to a clogged toilet. Nothing we tried worked, so we called Roto-Rooter. What we thought was going to be a quick fix turned out to be more complicated. Our service person Mark was very professional and quite cheerful, considering the disgusting, dirty task ahead. He diagnosed the problem and gave us a price. He, also, kept us informed of his progress and offered helpful tips to prevent the problem from happening again. We are very pleased with Mark and would gladly recommend him to others. more

To the rescue! 4/22/2012

No hot water on a Saturday afternoon! We called a local plumber in Pittsburgh who couldn't help until Monday. My husband then saw the yellow pages add for Roto-Rooter and called. Edwin came, diagnosed the problem and gave a fair price. He labored and called in Jesse who helped install a new hot water heater. He also told us our water pressure was way too high. We corrected that problem also, preventative maintenance. They worked until 9pm without a peep of complaint due to their 24 hour service. My husband was so impressed by their work ethic, cleanliness, and respectfulness. more

Roto-Rooter plumber Greg 4/17/2012

Greg Leeper saved the day for us on 4/12/12. Our family from NY (five people including three teens) kept our two bathrooms busy. All of a sudden the downstairs toilet would not flush. The water rose to the top each time we tried and we feared it would overflow. We ran to the Yellow Pages and located Roto-Rooter. Within a short time Greg arrived. (He was at another job nearby). He snaked the line and put a camera down to make sure the line was clear and the water properly running. Within a short time, to our relief, all was well and the toilet was up and running. Greg was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. We made the right choice in calling Roto-Rooter. Thank you Greg!! more

Flushing once again! 4/10/2012

Bill Slade came out to repair our toilet that needed a new fill valve, flapper and water supply tube. He was efficient, friendly and respectful of the kids, cat, dog and multiple phone calls that I had to make while he was here. The toilet was fixed quickly. Thanks! more

Quick Professional Service 4/4/2012

Developed a leak under my bathroom sink at 1:00am Monday morning before going to bed and had to shut off the water to the upstairs bathrooms. Next day called a plumber but was told they could not come until Wednesday. Called Roto-Rooter and they said they could have someone there whithin an hour and a half. The plumber (Jeff) called to verify the time he would be there and he arrived on time with his assistant (Matt). We discussed the immediate problem and another ongoing problem with a leaking shower. I was quoted a price for the repairs which seemed reasonable for the work to be performed. Work was completed in a reasonable time. Now when I turn off the shower the water is off (no more leaking shower) and the leak that develped under the sink is fixed. Very happy with the service we received from these Pittsburgh Plumbers. Great Job. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 3/31/2012

Once again, I had a very good experience with the Roto-Rooter plumbing team out of Murrysville, Pa (near Pittsburgh). My husband and I have had occasion to call them a few times, with large and small plumbing needs, over the past few years. They always come thru for us with quick, fair and professional service! The warranty on services can't be beat either. I really like the fact that the plumbers that come to the house are very knowledgeable and straight forward (not trying to up-sell the service or provide stuff we don't need). Roto-Rooter has become our go-to call for all of our plumbing needs. more

Great plumbing service! 3/10/2012

We had issues with the tub and bathroom sink being clogged. We tried the do-it-yourselves items, but it was a no go. Called Roto-Rooter on Saturday morning and Rick stated they could have someone to our place within the hour. Kim called back to confirm the appointment. Bill, the plumber showed up on time and went right to work. He checked out the issue, gave us an estimate and starting solving the problem. Bill found out one of the pipes was crumbling and replaced it too. It was a wonderful feeling when I heard Bill state ""there she goes!"". The drains were cleared. It was excellent service all the way around! Thanks, Roto-Rooter! more

I was looking for a plumber in Pittsburgh to do a number of plumbing jobs that were costing a lot of money in wasted water. I called Roto-Rooter and was fortunate enough to have Les #6132 show up. I simply cannot say enough about how nice and helpful Les was. He was extremely knowledgable, explained things clearly, and completed the work efficiently and competently. With respect to Roto-Rooter in general, I was extremely happy to have my call fielded in the evening after most places are closed and then to have Les show up at 8am the next day. I was extremely impressed with the promptness of the service center and quality of service overall. I look forward to working more with Roto-Rooter and Les and would recommend them both very highly to anyone. more

Excellent service and great employees 2/19/2012

Dear Roto-Rooter of Murrysille, I cannot thank your employees enough for all of the services they performed on my plumbing. I did not realize the extent of damage to my drains. I have been a widow for many years and was forced to deal with all of this on my own. Thanks to your wonderful employee, Greg Leeper, for walking me through this whole process. Greg explained every step needed to repair my drain problem. He also contacted everyone necessary to complete the job. Because of Greg, I would not hesitate to recommend your company and your employees for such excellent service. I called to schedule an appointment, they arrived on time to unclog a toilet. The plumber told me the price, he got started with snaking the line. In 10 minutes, he was done. And the price was exactly as he stated at the beginning of the visit. more

The plumber from the Pittsburgh branch was very professional and friendly. Unclogged a bath tub drain. The drain was installed about 70 years ago. It doesn't drain like a new one due to the age of the pipes, but it drains alot better than it did. more
