I had a significant blockage in what I thought was my main clay piping that runs out to the street. I called Roto-Rooter and they came out with in the hour. The first technician was polite and knowledgeable. He was here for almost 3 hours trying a number of different things to clear blockage, he was unsuccessful unfortunately...I was charged nothing. The next day a manager came out to discuss my options. Instead of trying to sell me on digging and putting in a clean out he first used a camera to see if we could see anything that way. He was able to find the blockage and was confident if we went pulled the toilet they would be able to clear pipes. Again i was not charged for this service call. They allowed me to pull the toilet and came back the next morning to finish the job. I live in a house that was built around the 1930s. Not surprisingly, my initial call to have my main line cleared required multiple visits. Throughout the experience, the technicians convinced me that my satisfaction was there first priority. Roto-Rooter delivers the kind of service that creates loyal, long term customers. After a terrible issue/mess caused by a different plumbing company in the following rooms: (upstairs and downstairs bathroom, utility room, downstairs bedroom), that dealt with a sewer pipe backup. We were told that Roto Rooter had a restoration service, so we promptly scheduled an appointment with them on a Saturday night. He ( Colin ) was prompt, polite, precise, and worked hard to make sure we knew what was going on and to move along the process. He even went back to the shop to get the needed machines to start the process late on Saturday night. This was our first encounter to work with an insurance company he calmly, patiently, walked us through each of the steps of process (and ensured we were ok). He went out of his way to ensure that we knew what was happening (we asked a lot of questions). He and his team came in and cleaned each of the rooms and removed the needed items with great professionalism. He also acted as a liaison between us and the insurance agent, and our contractor, and was very detailed oriented (which in this situation was exactly was needed). He was great, we will recommend the Roto Rooter restoration services and Colin to anybody that needs this type of service. more

Dave C came out early on Sunday morning and took care of the problem and took good care of us. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Within a few hours his Supervisor, Todd, came out and scoped the drain to show that it was clear and gave us some very helpful tips. I appreciated their response time and quality work. more

We called for help with a clogged kitchen sink. Ron #3070 came out the same afternoon. He cleared the clog, replaced the disposal and all of the pvc pipes and we had our kitchen back in time for dinner. We would definitely call again for any other plumbing needs. He did a great job! more

We woke up this morning to find our sub pump alarm going off and a leaking check valve. We called Roto-Rooter and they came out that same day. They were punctual and gave us a 30 minute courtesy call to let us know when their plumber would arrive. The prior owners of our home had done some ""unique"" things in setting up the sub pump. So, not only did Roto-Rooter fix the valve and replace the sub pump, they improved the situation tremendously. They were professional and courtesy. I would definitely use them again. If you are in the Zionsville area and need some plumping work done fast, I would give their Indianapolis (6809 Hillsdale Ct.) office a call. \r \r Alex Forman more

Rotor Rooter was able to help me on a Sunday when nobody else could. They were prompt and were able to solve the issues that we were having. I would definitely use them again. In the Indianapolis IN area. 6809 Hillsdale Court office. \r \r They came out the next day and inspected the pipes with a camera and explained in detail what was going on and how to fix the issue. My family woke on Saturday the 28th to water dripping from the bottom of our water heater. We called Roto Rooter and were slotted into the afternoon appointments for that day. We had some delays at prior clients, but we were always kept informed with time frames and assurances that it would be done today. Matt Thomas arrived at 8pm and worked until 10:30pm to get us up and running. Now we are again with heated water, and much appreciation to Matt and Roto Rooter for all their professional help and excellent customer service! Definitely return customers!!! more

I had the unfortuante luck of having to shut down my household water supply and call for service on Christmas Day with guests in the house. I accept that Roto-Rooter is priced a bit higher than my local plumber but was willing to pay because it was the Christmas holiday, it was an emergency, my local plumber was not available and the website said there was no extra charge for service calls on holidays. Unfortunately, when I called Roto-Rooter I was told that they would not be able to make a service call on Christmas Day. They offered an appointment on the following day. Since there was no water in the house I had to rent two hotel rooms for family and guests and schedule the visit for the following day. On that day David arrived promptly and resolved the issue within an hour. I give his service very high marks. I only wish there had been someone on call the day I needed the help so I did not have to inconvenience my guests and spend $200 on hotel rooms on top of the $255 for the service call. I understand that Christmas is a special holiday but do think it would be appropriate for Roto-Rooter to indicate on their website any holidays they choose not to work. more

I set up an appointment online. The convenience of being able to do that was great. We were called to let us know when the technician was on his way. Two very friendly gentleman showed up. They went right to work. They were mindful of keeping our floors and carpets clean by wearing booties and wiping down the equipment they brought in my home. I thought the price was very competitive especially seeing as it was an evening appointment right before the holidays. more

Called at 3:00 on Saturday and they were there at 5:30, exactly when they said they would arrive. The technician rooted out our sewer line, and was done in an hour. They were terrific and I will use them again. more

They were just at my home in Noblesville, IN. Two days before Christmas and they were here within an hour of our call. Project Manager called to tell us when the technician was on his way. Two guys showed up which helped them finish the job quicker. Their prices were very competitive for the time of year and actually half of the previous plumber we called. They cleaned the clogged drain and then showed me the live sewer cam so I could verify the clog was gone. Unfortunately the clog was tree roots which means they will be back! Because of the service we just received I will call them again. Thanks Roto-Rooter Indianapolis! more

Both manager and technician are very professional. Manager called me back to verify details and alerted about the arrival time. Dave C is one of the best professionals I have met. He diagnosed the problem immediately about my clogged kitchen sink, and got it fix the right way with the pro-tools and experience. He also provided a lot of tips and suggestion around the house plumbing. Though the price is high, it worth the trouble and they do have warranty. I would suggest you try to figure out the problem by checking the pipes or internet (that was I did), then if it could not be fixed by yourself, ask for Roto-Rooter! more
