Roto-Rooter Plumbers 3/8/2012

I had two issues that needed attention, and Roto-Rooter was near the top of the list of Indianapolis plumbers. Now I know why. Tristan (tech #1373) came by first to take a look at my two issues: backed up water in the dishwasher and a crackling noise in the water heater. He very thoroughly explained what was going on with my water heater and said that it probably had a year at most left of life. He put together an estimate on what the cost could be to replace it through Roto-Rooter but never pressured me to commit to the repairs. Tristan next took a look at the dishwasher situation. Originally, he thought that it was a drainage issue. When it turned out that it wasn't, he didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis and even helped me re-assemble my dishwasher. There was no doubt in my mind that I could trust Tristan and Roto-Rooter with the installation of a replacement water heater and dishwasher. Tristan said that he and Craig (tech # 2231) could have replacements installed the next day. The next day Tristan came by early to make some quick measurements. An hour later he came back with Craig, and within 3 hours after that both the new water heater and dishwasher were carefully and thoroughly installed and tested. Tristan and Craig cleaned up after themselves and even went as far to replace some air conditioning condensate pipes that they nicked during the installation for free. A couple of days later, Tristan gave me a follow up call to make sure that everything was cooperating and assured me that if any issues cropped up, he and Craig would be back out to fix them. That kind of quality of customer service goes a long way, in my book. I don't expect to see Tristan and Craig again for this issue, but I know that if I have any plumbing and draining issues in the future, these guys (and Roto-Rooter) are the ones I'm calling. more

Excellent service and work 2/11/2012

I had a leak open up in a copper pipe in my crawl space on 2/10/12. I called Roto Rooter and explained to the tech (EvanK) that I would feel better about replacing all the copper pipes under the house with PEX. In addition, the company that built my home neglected to plumb a shutoff valve for the water in my house. I asked EvanK if he could install one while replacing the pipes. All of this he and his coworker did. They worked non stop all day (it took about 12 hours) and were very courteous. They kept me informed while the work was going on and I have no complaints. At the end the of day, I was happy to see that the overall cost was very reasonable and well worth the peace of mind that it gives knowing I now have up to date pipes (PEX) and a main shutoff valve. I would definitely recommend them and will utilize them in the future for plumbing needs. more

Excellent service and work 2/11/2012

I had Roto Rooter out for service on 2/10/12 and was very pleased with the work performed. My house developed a leak in a pipe in the crawl space. I was concerned about leaking pipes b/c when Estridge built my house, they neglected to install a water shutoff valve in. Fortunately, this leak was in the crawl space. I had Roto Rooter replace all the copper pipes under the house with PEX as well as pipe a water shutoff valve into the house. EvanK and his coworker literally worked all day from about 9am until 9pm to complete the job. They worked non-stop, kept me informed along the way, and were very courteous. At the end of the job, I must say that I was pleased with the over all cost and found it to be well worth the peace of mind knowing I have taken a step back from a future plumbing disaster. more

The Roto-Rooter's u can count on! 12/31/2011

As we are getting things ready to have a NEW YEAR'S EVE party in INDIANAPOLIS ( to welcome in the New Year0. It quickly came to a screeching halt, When I seen water all over my restroom floor. We only have one restroom in our house and I started to panic. That's when we notice it was our toilet overflowing, THANK GOODNESS no one had used the restroom. With no success with the plunger we knew we had to call in the PROFESSIONALS. With no hesitation we called ROTO-ROOTER, WHAT IMPRESSED ME WAS HOW QUICK THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE. THE LADY WHO HELPED ME HAD GREAT CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BUT! IT DID NOT STOP THERE. THEY DISPATCHED A TECHNICIAN RIGHT AWAY AND THEY ARRIVED WITHIN 30MIN. THEIR SERVICE TECHS, GREETED ME AND SHOWED ME HOW MUCH THEY CARED ABOUT MY SITUATION. WITHIN 5-10 MINS, THEY WERE DONE. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! THE BEST PLUMBERS IN THE INDIANAPOLIS AREA ****I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROTO-ROOTERS**** I was able to still have my New Year's Eve party as planned. THANK YOU ROTO-ROOTER FOR SAVING OUR NEW YEARS PARTY, Now its time for me to get ready. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. more

GREAT Plumbing Service 12/30/2011

Needed a plumber from the Indianapolis area. Called Roto Rooter. They were EARLY for appt. Replaced water heater and sump pump backup system quickly and at a fair price. Technician was neat, clean, friendly, and did a wonderful job with attention to detail. more

SAVED MY CHRISTMAS!!! 12/25/2011

I am very grateful for the wonderful man (Frank) that came to our rescue at almost 10pm on Christmas night. There were very few places that would even consider coming to help us, let alone at no extra charge. In under an hour he had everything working wonderfully again! THANK YOU SANTA FRANK!!!! more

Frank - Quick & Friendly 12/25/2011

Not everyone would be nice on Christmas - but Frank did a fine job. He had my main line unclogged & open very quickly. It was dark, and cold - but he was willing to explain each question I asked with patience. I forgot all about their $40 coupon.....but the service was worth the cost - and if I understand correctly, ther will be a follow up with a camera @ no charge to see if I need more extensive work to avoid future problems. This is a true added value ~ If clogged, give them a call - free estimate, you can't beat it. more

Indianapolis Plumber Needed - Call Roto Rooter 12/15/2011

I was in need of a plumber in the Indianapolis area so I called Roto-Rooter because I knew they would be able to be there quickly. The price was a little higher than I expected, but the plumber was very nice and helpful and gave good advice. He was done within an hour so I think it may be worth the extra bit of money. I hope that everything continues to work well and I won't have to call them back...but if I do need a plumber again, I will be sure to call Roto-Rooter...but next time I may ask if there is a special! more

Quick, Friendly and Helpful 11/19/2011

Roto-Rooter Indianapolis came out within 2 hours of my online appt request. They called ahead as promised and were on time. The plumber was very helpful and not only fixed our leak quickly and cleaned up after himself but he also gave us a tip on preventing an overflow problem we'd been having. Will definitely use again if we are in need of a plumber! more

Great service! 11/14/2011

Roto-Rooter Indianapolis came to my home exactly on time with our set appointment. Within 30 minute, our Plumber, frank, had my pipes and drains open and running smoothly. He was very nice and cleaned up after himself. He gave me tips on how to prevent future problems, and even brought to my attention a problem with our water heater. Thanks Frank, I definitely will recommend Roto-Rooter to my friends and neighbors. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 10/30/2011

Today we woke up and had some issues with our toilets and drains. Of course, we went to the web and began searching for a plumber. We read several good reviews of Roto-Rooter, so we gave them a call. Frank, our plumber, did a great job. He arrived quickly (within an hour of us first calling) and got the job done efficiently. In addition to the un-clogging the drain, we will be given the opportunity to set up an appointment for a specialist to come out and run a camera through our line. Hopefully, this is will let us know the main cause of the problem. Our house is only 9 months old, so we are hoping to get some answers to talk to the builder about. So far, our experience with Roto-Rooter has been a great one. They are very helpful! We would definitely call the Indianapolis Roto-Rooter again! more

Stuff going where it needs to 10/21/2011

I called Roto-rooter on the advice of my plumber (who hates cleaning drains) I had a clog in my main from the street to the house. The tech came over quickly and in the evening hours at the same price as a usual call. He went to work right away and had my main cleared and running in no time. Now we can take showers tonight all 5 of us. The price of the clearing of the drain comes with a camera inspection which we will get tomorrow. A six month warranty makes it worth a little extra $. I have had drain issues before and never got more than a one month warranty. more

True Professionals 9/7/2011

I am very pleased with the service I received from Roto-Rooter today. I contacted them to price a repair to the broken water line running to my house. We had been without water service for 24 hours, and I was put off by the lack of urgency from other contractors we contacted for a quote. Luckily, my neighbor recommended Roto-Rooter. These guys mobilized within two hours of my acceptance of their quote. They arrived at our home in Westfield, IN several hours before I came home from work. They were very courteous to my wife, explaining to her exactly what they were planning to do. I really appreciate how well they treated her. When I arrived home from work, they were close to finishing the job. They replanted shrubs that had to be moved during the project and thoroughly cleaned up before departing. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter for their competitive pricing, their professionalism, and their attention to detail. more

Excellent job - would recommend this plumber to anyone in the Indianapolis area. We called Roto-Rooter after another plumber came a few weeks ago and we continued to have problems. Instead of calling that plumber back we decided to call Roto-Rooter. Roto-Rooter asked questions to confirm that they had the right tools and the best plumber to do the job.
