Roto rooter came within an hour of us calling to fix a pipe gushing water from our shower. The plumber from the Philadelphia branch was incredibly helpful and got everything done very quickly. He cleaned up and gave us some suggestions on switching otu washers and other things to keep our shower running. He definitely went above and beyond what was required. more

I called Roto-Rooter to service a clogged kitchen drain. The service truck arrived within 3 hours. The repair involved excavation of my garage floor to replace the kitchen stack drain pipe under the ground. Two employees arrived promptly the next morning to do the job. Both men (Aaron & Keith) were timely, courteous, reliable and skilled. The job was started & completed within the estimated timeframe. I had a clogged bath drain. My local plumber didn't have the right equipment to fix it so he referred me to Steve at Roto-Rooter. Steve would have had to get up on the roof to snake the drain stack for $500. I asked about the special for a whole house cleaning ($745) and if it would include the roof stack. Yes, for $200 more. I agreed and Steve showed up on time the next morning. Wonderful news, he was able to clear all the drains from inside the house and I didn't have to pay the extra $200. Called at 8PM Sunday, arrived by 9:30PM Sunday, work completed by 10:30PM Sunday. Main sewer line for 3 story house in Philadelphia was backing up sewage into the basement. Plumber came and machine cleaned sewer line. Work was professional and timely. Would use again. more

We called Roto-Rooter Pumbers because, with the recent hurricane and rains in the Philadelphia area, we had water in our basement that for the first time had not been efficiently disposed of by our sump pump. Scott Mafflin (55-1152) called us the morning of the service, came out on time and quickly worked on assessing the problem (a crack in our 20-yr. old pump). He gave us an estimate on the parts & labor, replaced the pump in a timely manner and explained we will be getting a follow-up call this afternoon on any further assessment. I was in need of urgent plumber services in Philadelphia in the middle of the night and I looked into Roto-Rooter Services in the web. It was very easy to access and it allowed me to quickly explain my problem but best of all, to check when was the earliest time they could come to my house which was in the early morning the next day.
