Roto-Rooter 9-8-11 9/7/2011

I called Roto-Rooter this morning because I stopped up my kitchen sink by using my garbage disposal. I thouht that I would have to wait all day for someone to come out but to my surprise they said that someone would be there within the hour. Sure enough, Roy showed up within 35 minutes from my call. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. He had my drain unplugged within 15 minutes and he was out of there. Needless to say, the whole experience from my first initial phone call was 1 hour!!! Amazing!!! Thank you so much!! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 9/2/2011 9/3/2011

When I called Roto-Rooter in Dayton yesterday I was shocked that they were able to send a plumber out in less than 2 hours. The fixture inside the toilet at my mom's house had broken, so flushing was impossible. The plumber was already there by the time I arrived at the house. Cassidy (#173-3955) looked to be about 16 years old and I asked my mom where the boy's father was! She too was concerned about his age and questioned his experience. When Cassidy told her he was 26years old with a wife and kids she was a little apprehensive. But not only was Cassidy very professional and fixed the toilet in less than an hour's time, he also obliged when I asked him to look at a clogged drain in the basement. The man worked his ass off! This was a very professional man who explained the problems and what he needed to do to fix the issues. He also was very cordial and respectful, and did not try to make us feel intimidated or stupid about the plumbing problems. I've got a leak under the kitchen sink as well, and when I call Roto-Rooter again later to correct that problem, I'll be asking if Cassidy is available. We need more service-oriented people like him who know the meaning of ""customer service"". Excellent job! more

Extremely fast & courteous service 8/29/2011

Called at 9:45. Technician arrived at 10:20 and the drain was unclogged and he was gone by 10:45. Fast service and the tech was very knowledgeable and courteous. Would recommend them to anyone. more

Excellent Technician 8/26/2011

Was impressed with the technician the minute he walked in. He was personable and new exactly what was wrong with our water heater before confirming it. He even came to our home on his day off to fix the water heater once the part arrived. My wife and I would request this technician in the future! more

Good Plumber, poor dispatch 8/24/2011

We had an issue with our water heater and based on a really good experience the last time we called Roto-Rooter, we called again - this time 4PM on a Sat. We were told three hours, then received several calls about 45 minutes apart informing of a delay. Finally we agreed to postpone until 8AM next day. Next day, we got call near 9AM that tech was on his way as soon as taking something off truck. To make a long story short, after several more calls, we did get a very nice, competent tech around 11 AM. So - my point is, if you can't get there because business is slammed, tell me! I can understand that much better than the early promises and then continual delays. Again - once the tech arrived, he was great and the problem was fixed quickly, and we did receive a discount more

Wonderful and QUICK service 8/11/2011

Our Technition Dave Casey was a joy. He performed all the work fast and efficiently. It was a lot of work on short notice later in the evening. He was accomodating and pleasant. He removed a portion of the bathroom wall and pipes behind and repaired same. He then offered to clean the kitchen drain at the same time. I would call him back any time. Roto rooter plumber 7/21/2011

The plumber arrived very shortly after i contacted them. Diagnosed and told me the problem right away. The problem was finally fixed, checked it and paid it. Thank God no complications or anything. One of the most hassle free experience i had when it came for somebody to repair something in my house. more

Fast response, great service! 7/14/2011

Bob & Barry came out for our clogged drain. Our house is over 100 years old and they provided information as to what they would be looking out for. They unclogged the pipes, which was no easy task. They also provided some additional details and spent time with us pointing out some other things we were not aware of. Overall, it was great service. Both Bob and Barry were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and provided great service. more

We had a Roto-Rooter plumber out to our home in Dayton, Ohio when our kitchen sink was clogged. Cassidy was our plumber and was very professional. I was even curious to watch how he used the drain snake on the drill attachment because I had one but was unable to clear the pipes. He explained how he did it and let me watch how it was done. The clog was about 40 feet down and mine only went 25 feet so I couldnt have gotten it but I appreciated his service and explaining to me the in's and out's. I would definitely use their service again. more

The service person called me before he came and when they arrived they were very friendly and professional, The problem was resolved and they gave me advice as to how to avoid the problem in the future. more

The Plumbers that arrived at my house from Dayton, Ohio got right to work. I have a difficult area for them to get to. My cleanout is located under my Deck, there was no complaints from Bob, he just got to work. They were very friendly. They remained in good spirits, even after it started to rain, had to put on the second reel, and the Drain was still clogged. The Plumbers ended up having to come in the house, carry the equipment to the basement and try again. The drain finally was clear. Bob #029 made sure by running the snake back and forth several times to insure the clog was cleared. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the job. more

Great Service 5/4/2011

The service technician, Bob, came out to unclog buried drain tile attached to our downspouts. He spent considerable time working to unclog the drain tile, working in pouring rain the entire time of his visit, but did not rush through the job. He was especially careful working around the perennials and bushes I had planted nearby. I would recommend Roto-Rooter as a company and Bob as a service technician if you need drain service. more

Quick service 3/13/2011

I called Roto Rooter on Sunday March 13, 2011 to unclog a bathroom sink. Andre came out and unclogged the sink within minutes. He was friendly and very knowlegable. I will hire Roto Rooter again more

Roto Rooters Plumbing 2/16/11 3/1/2011

We had water leaking..i mean pouring, from behind a wall and the ceiling. Roto rooter in Dayton was able to get us a plumber there quickly to fix it. He was also able to fix the problem in a timely manner. The plumber also gave us an estimate of the cost before he started working which was nice to know. It was great to have someone we could get in an emergency to come help us out. more
