Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain

After finally getting here, the plumber did a great job. It only took him about one hour and ten minutes roughly. But the price was too high in my book $265. I probably should've went with the other plumber that estimated the job to $155 for the first hour and every hour after that $35. Still would've been cheaper. All in all Roto Rooter does have professional plumbers. However, they're scheduling and waiting time stinks. After 5 hours of waiting and another hour to get the job done. My day has been pretty much wasted. Plus, their prices are terrible. Probably won't use them again. more

Not Impressed so far. Scheduled an appointment for a Saturday well in advance and they gave me a 4 hour window from 8am to 12pm. They tried calling me at 7:50am but was out cutting my lawn but called them back at 8:20am. The dispatch gave me confirmation that a plumber was scheduled to be at my house today. Two hours later I called again to find out the status and was told that the plumber just finished another job and will call me as soon as he is ready to head over to my house. ANOTHER Two hours later, I called again.... They told me the same story about the plumber finishing a job and apologized and will call me when he gets ready to come out. I'm still waiting another hour later. It's too late in the game to call another plumber so I'll let you know how well they did but so far...NOT Impressed with their scheduling system. more

I called Roto Rooter out Monday night for a possible sewer backup. They were very fast to arrive but the worker didn't have any tools with him that could assist us. He needed to cut into a clean out pipe in my front yard and couldn't do it. Then needed a camera to see down the drain but didn't have a camera and nobody else near him had one either. After 2 hours of no progress he left. He did return the next day, which he said was his day off. He cut the pipe and rodded to the street and in my home. He was there about an hour. All in all it was ok service. Seemed very expensive but i don't have much experience with what plumbing bills cost. Nice employee. more

Had Roto Rooter out this morning after the drain to our washing machine blew black stuff back up at us. They were here in 30 minutes and the call by no means broke our bank!! I would have them out again in a heart beat, and ask for Dan by name..he was GREAT!!! more
