When the water would not drain from the kitchen sink, I opened the cabinet to get the plunger as I have been doing a lot lately. Used chemicals, plunged, used more chemicals then plunged some more. This had been going on for over a month. Only this particular day in Jacksonville, FL, when I opened the cabinet under the sink, water was pouring everywhere from the pipes. Guess all that plunging had damaged them. Made a call to Roto-Rooter and out came George. He labored over those pipes. He brought in one snake and after using it, decided he needed the big boy. He was so careful not to damage the laminate flooring and even had a mat to protect the floor while running the snake. George was so great. Hope to be able to call on him as our plumber, when the need arises. And you know it will!! more

Main Sewer Line Replacement 9/7/2011

I had a drainage problem where my kitchen sink was backing up into the bathtub, after trying numerous snakes and chemicals, we broke down and called Roto Rooter Jacksonville. The plumber came out and ran a snake through the line. After about 25 feet he kept pulling out large roots. He then advised us that the pipe probably was collapsing and because we live in an older home, the pipe was made out clay. He then said that we should have someone come out with the camera to determine the problem. Plumber Tech #2991came from Roto Rooter Jacksonville and ran the camera and determined that we need to replace both the line under the house and running to the city. I must say that Roto Rooter Jacksonville has the best professional plumbers. They're very courteous and very informative. We are very glad we called Roto Rooter Jacksonville! more

Roto Rooter service 11/29/201 11/29/2010

I had a pretty bad slab leak so I called Roto Rooter and they came out the next morning. I opted for the re-pipe through the attic. Tony, Mike and Tom did a very professional job and they finished my 3 bathroom house in about 11 hours. I will definitely use their service again and I will recommend them to all my friends more

I have been a customer for many many years. I have had some smart plumbers at my home for repairs. However, I must say that from the day Alan Hargrove came to my door, I have only asked for him to repair my plumbing. Roto-rooter is so fortunate to have this gentleman working there. He is a fine religious man, always pleasant from the minute he enters ones home. He treats a customer with respect makes you feel like you are the most important customer. He knows all aspect of his job and does it well. He truly is a FIVE STAR PLUMBER and Roto-Rooter is very lucky to have him as an employee. Ken was my plumber for a toilet clog (thank you two year old son who loves to stuff things in our toilet!) and he was great. I booked appointment online that morning, immediately got a confirmation email that noted my appointment, and shortly thereafter recieved an email narrowing my time window. You can also click on 'update' to find out where the technician is and what the status update is. About 30 minutes prior I received a call from the office stating that Ken was on his way. Ken was very professional, outlined the costs and fixed the problem in no time. He also indicated there was a 7 day warranty on the work. He also provided his card and offered his help or advice for any future problems. A nice guy and very helpful. All and all a great experience at a great price and prompt service. more

It is nice to get competent help quickly when you need it. Jerry was thorough with diagnosing the problem, patient with my many questions, and got the job done right. He found the “root” of the problem and disconnected an old unused sewer pipe that had been tied into my line by “the other guys”. The old pipe had allowed a huge glob of little branches to enter my pipe. Thank you for getting the job done correctly. Pros: quick, efficient, affordable Cons: none more
