Very professional and they got my a/c working same day. I called up another company and they wouldn't even come out the same week. I thought that I was going to have to buy a new one when my really old system shut down on me. Keith came out and replaced a part and even gave me a credit towards replacing the system when I want to. He said that I should be able to get a few more years out of the current one, but after we finish the kitchen remodel, the a/c is next on the list. more

Pretty amazing. My a/c went out and I called Dicksons as they put it in 28 years ago. Not only did they offer to repair it at what was a reasonable rate, I decided after 28 years it was probably time for a new one. It has been about a month now and I am completely amazed at everything they did. They made some custom modifications for me at no additional charge, and when I look back they did everything in one day, from sales process to install. My energy bills are so much lower now I wish I did this 5 years ago! Even though I am 67 I still keep very busy so having this job done so professionally and with such a quick turnaround was so great. Use these guys you won t be sorry! more

I had an excellent service experience yesterday. I recently switched a/c companies because I was not getting the service I was used to from my old company. I called DIcksons off of one of their service notice advertisements and they came out for a reasonable fee. The technician was very thorough and took the time to explain everything. Not only was it a great service I feel like I have a better understanding of how my system works and how to take care of it for the future. I signed up for the maintenance program with them and I will be giving their plumbing service a tray as well.\r more

I never want my air conditioning unit to break down again! I was having a large party over and of course, Murphy's Law, my air conditioner stopped working. In the middle of July it was difficult to find a licensed company to come service my home right away. Dicksons came out on an emergency service call and got my unit up and running in time for my party... Phew... I also signed up for the maintenance service so that this doesn't happen in the future (I have never performed maintenance on the unit before, but it is a good idea). I will be using them for the future and I'm going to try their plumbing service as well. more

I don't usually write reviews, but when you receive the kind of customer service I did you have to share it. I had Dicksons to my home to replace a furnace that was 30+ years old.Dicksons sent out their Field Engineer for a free estimate for replacement. the Field Engineer provided me a couple options. After talking things over with my wife we decided to go forward with the replacement and we were excited to have cold air again. When I called back in to get the date set for us to have it installed I expected to be waiting a few days for parts to be ordered and delivered. However much to my surprise the manager was able to have all of the parts ordered and the installation scheduled begin the next day. We were so excited to have cold air again. When the Crew of guys showed up to our home they all put on protective show covers and were very polite. They had the old equipment out before I knew it, with the new equipment on it was in right after. All the while answering all the questions I had. Once the installation was complete they showed me how to use the new thermostat and even helped me program it to setting to keep my house cool, when to the air turns on and when it turns off. I am so happy with them I had to share my experience. Thank you!!!! more

I never thought that it could get this cold in Orange County of all places. This winter there were a couple of weeks when it got down to below 30 degrees. That's below freezing! And, of course in accordance with Murphy's Law, ""Anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time."" The furnace that we have had since we bought the home just sputtered out. It wouldn't even keep my fingers warm when I held them up to the vents. Never having had to deal with a problem like this before I began calling companies out of the phone book. That was a mistake. I spoke with one company and they made it seem like it was my fault that my furnace broke, and I would have to wait a week to have someone out. There was no way I could do that. I live down by the beach and in the nights the sea breeze can make the cold weather even worse. I swear, sometimes icicles form around my nose. So I asked my mother, who suggested Dicksons. She said she had been using them for years. When I called and mentioned that my mother referred me they had someone out the very next morning. It turns out that some fancy gizmo inside of the furnace had just stopped working because it was so old. They had my heat up and running by noontime and also gave me a price on replacing it when I felt ready. Thinking about it now I don't want to spend another night like the one curled up on the couch with two electric blankets, and neither of them keeping me warm. I'm seriously thinking about getting a new furnace to help save on the electric bills alone more
