I found Rock City Tattoo quite by accident. I wanted my belly button pierced and looked at several reviews on line and decided that this must be the place that everyone is talking about. I went to the shop and decided that I like the place, the owner, and the staff. I got my belly button piecing done by Rock, the owner. He was very pleasant, kind, and knew right away that I was nervous, since this was my first piercing. He put me at ease and didn't rush the process. He explained in detail how to take care of the piercing while it was healing and made sure that I would call if I had any questions whatsoever. Now that is real customer service. I'm currently working up the nerve to get my first tattoo and when I do, I'll be returning to Rock City. more

I went into Rock City Tattoo for a piercing and ended up receiving an amazing tattoo. I had no intention of getting a tattoo that day, but once I saw their artwork, I decided to talk to the owner, Rock, regarding an idea I had for a tattoo. You see, I’ve had this image in my head for several years. It was an image that carried a very personal reminder of a loved one that had passed away. It was a colorful and unique image and Rock really seemed to know that it came from a place in my heart. Rock took a personal interest in my story behind wanting the tattoo and made sure that the artwork came together exactly how I envisioned it would. He genuinely cares about the people that get tattooed in his shop and wants to make sure that they are happy with the outcome. As it turned out, the artwork came together beautifully, and I knew that I had to get tattooed that day. They went over the procedure with me and made sure that I was comfortable. I was very confident in their expertise and I wasn’t disappointed. The colors popped and the details were beyond amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They took my idea and made it real. I walked out of Rock City that day a very happy and satisfied customer. I guess I’ll just have to go back to Rock City again to get that piercing. And this time, I’m bringing friends. Love To Rock City! more

STAY AWAY!!!!!! The tattoo artist went so deep into my skin it pittted my skin . Rock the owner who only does piercings actually gave me my money back and said he would let his more experienced artist fix it. No way I would let anyone from that shop touch me again. I spent a couple hundred having another tattoo artist from a different shop go over the tattoo after it healed and rework the color. He should not bee letting inexperienced people work on anyone. I wish i would have read other reviews before going there and I have also herd other horror stories about the shop after my experience. I just don't want this happening to anyone else . more

I recently got a small tattoo at Rock City. The owner was awesome and he actually did the tattoo himself. They are honest in their prices and made me feel right at home.
