I went with a friend to Rock City Tattoo. I had no intention of getting a tattoo. I was just there to keep my friend company. But when I saw the work that was being done, I decided that perhaps this would be the time for some ""ink"". I talked to the owner, Rock, and told him some ideas and then he and his team worked up some drawings for me. I added my own changes and the next thing I knew I was getting my first tattoo. The experience from start to finish was great. They were helpful, friendly, and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. If you ever want a tattoo, go to Rock City! They will hook you up! more

I told everyone I know about Rock City. They are the real deal! The artist are professional. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. They gave me exactly what I wanted and my tattoo came out more beautiful than I could have imagined. What a fantastic experience!!! more

Rock City is the place to go if you want a tattoo or piercing. I recently had both done and the people who worked there made the experience wonderful. The shop was spotless, the staff was warm and friendly, and they took great effort to make sure I was completely satisfied with their work. They really do go the extra mile. At first I was hesitant to get a tattoo, but I felt compelled after a personal tragedy. I wanted a very special tattoo and didn't know how to put my idea on paper. Rock City's artists sat with me and after I talked to them about my idea, they seemed to know exactly what I wanted. They gave me the perfect size and in the most perfect spot. The colors are fantastic and I can't tell you how pleased I am and especially pleased that I walked into Rock City. more

I looked all around for a tattoo shop that really cares. I mean really cares about their customers. I finally found that at Rock City. It's not just take a number and we'll be right with you shop. They are very attentive and pay attention to what you want (and expect) in a tattoo and a piercing (I've had both). They know its a personal piece of art and they execute it with precision. Wonderful staff, wonderful work of art, and wonderful experience! more

I am so glad I walked into Rock City. They are the friendliest bunch of artists. You can tell immediately that they wanted you to feel at home and equally wanted you to be over the moon happy with their work. And they didn't let me down. Its been a long time since I've gotten a tattoo. After all the reviews I've read, it really was a no brainer to go to Rock City. The place is spotless, the staff warm and friendly, and they could not have made me feel more comfortable. I love the work they did and would not even think of going anywhere else. They welcome you with great attitudes and really take their time in helping you decide on a design and placement of the tattoo. They really know their stuff. You always want to go to a tattoo shop that you can trust. I found that Rock City is that place. Besides having a relaxed atmosphere, they are friendly and Rock, the owner, truly has a genuine nature. I was very pleased with the detailed and vivid colors that popped on my tattoo. They take great pride in their work and it shows. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Outstanding! more

Rock City is amazing. I had an idea for a tattoo and the artist made it come to life! I never want to go to another shop. The staff made me feel really weclome and comfertable. The artists are very talented and proffesional, as well as the piercer, Rock. He pierced my friend's bellybutton and did a great job. The shop is very clean and well kept. I would definitally reccomend everyone to go to Rock City for their next tattoo or piercing! more

A good friend of mine recommended Rock City Tattoo to me. I wanted a tattoo that really expressed my personality and I couldn't have been happier with the work that Rock City did. First of all, the atmosphere is friendly. Rock himself has a genuine nature and really cares about the creative and artistic aspect of the work they do. The shop is meticulous and clean and they were right on point with what I wanted and expected. Real masters in the trade and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Love you guys! more

I will never go to any other tattoo shop! Rock city has the most responsible prices in Belleville. Cosmo is an amazing artist and did a great job on my first tattoo. Rock, the owner, is so funny, down to earth, and actually cares about his customers. He is a great piercer too- my friend loves her new lip ring. I felt that the whole staff gave me their full attention the whole time i was there, and that I was their main priority. I will never go anywhere else, and I recommend everyone to go to Rock City for their next tattoo or piercing! more

You will find that Rock City Tattoo has the most dedicated artists around. I found that out when I decided to get a tattoo recently. Rock himself was approachable and I received a warm welcome. The shop was exceptionally clean and immaculate. I was instantly comfortable and relaxed and knew that I could trust the artist to be totally on point with what I wanted. They even offered changes to my design which made the tattoo really pop. The contours and shading was fantastic. Their attention to detail was flawless. I was very impressed with Rock City and I know you will too. Give them a try, you won't regret it! more

I thought there would be no better way to celebrate the birth of my first child by getting a tattoo. I wanted my daughter's name and my wife's name displayed proudly on my arm for all to see. I knew Rock, the owner, was a stand-up guy and makes sure that all his customers are absolutely happy with their artwork. They are dedicated professionals, and I was very impressed with the fantastic and detailed design, size, and recommended location of the tattoo. Upon recommendation, I went to Rock City because I wanted a small tattoo in remembrance of my Grandfather. He prided himself on being in the Navy and I wanted to honor him and those he served with by getting an anchor tattooed on my bicep. Rock, the owner, did the tattoo himself and spent time with me talking about my Grandfather. The tattoo came out great, the price was reasonable, and I think my Grandfather would be proud. My sisters and I decided to get the same tattoo of a very personal significance to us. None of us had had tattoos before and after some research we decided to visit Rock City Tattoo. We were a little nervous and didn't really know what to expect. Rock, the owner, made us all feel right at home. We spoke in detail about what this tattoo meant to us and that it had to be perfect. Won't think of going anywhere else! Rock, the owner, pierced my belly button back in 2009.. and because of his hospitality and how clean and organized the shop was, especially his piercing room, i decided to return to get my first tattoo, which was with Oscar. After that, Oscar has been my go-to guy for the following two tattoos I've gotten, and will be doing my upcoming fourth. Rock City is genuinely an awesome business, they even welcome their customers to drop in from time to time, just to say hello. Rock and his staff really appreciate and value their work and place of business.. I won't go anywhere else. more
