Stay away from, they are not honest with thier contractors that assist with hard wood flooring / sanding. They are not honest, don't pay after job is done, don't give jobs promised if they can get a discounted rate for ""help"" with another job. High turnover with installers due to dishonest acts. more

I wouldn't buy a soda from these clowns. I went to the Jefferson road store and the clown that waited on me had no clue what she was doing. She had a miniskirt on and high boots, Very very unprofessional. Not to mention I had to walk through 2 guys smoking right in front of the door, and they were sales people. They are managed and run by idiots, their prices and serve are the worse in the industry. I would never walk into that mess of a store again. A bunch of untrained idiots more

We wanted to replace our kitchen floor. The showroom is nice and the sales person was fine. The issues begin once you purchase... customer service has been horrible. From what I can tell, all the branches use the same center for install/service. The installers they sent out were terrible, messy, no booties (left footprints across our carpet), made no attempt to warn us or cover anything... HUGE mess. OK - we cleaned it up. The worst part was that they installed it incorrectly. After they came out again to try and fix it, and failed, I asked to have someone else sent out. That person was professional and quickly saw the huge flaw. No one ever called us to follow up once this problem was identified. It took me a week of calling to finally be told they would replace the floor. They said a couple more weeks to order. Three weeks later I hadn't heard. Called again. The floor is out of stock.... it'll be in in a couple weeks. I wait. No one calls. I call again - still not here. Might be a few more weeks...not sure. I am beyond frustrated and, frankly, don't know if I'm even being told the truth. Looks like there have been plenty of complaints on the BBB website. I will be logging one there as well soon. Sure hope they complete the job... half my frustration would be eased if I felt like anyone was on top of the problem. If they had even called me once to apologize and let me know they hadn't forgotten and explained the problem with it being out of stock. Grr. I have small children. Living through an install like that once was hard enough... to have to do it twice PLUS the headache of all this and waiting months to have it completed... The girls who handle the service calls must be swamped because they NEVER call me back even when they promise to do so. I was willing to over-pay at R L and Carpet One assuming they would do a great job. Now I've over-payed for a nightmare. Will not be a customer of theirs again. You have been warned! Apparently the Rochester Linoleum & Carpet (at least the one in Webster) hires independent contractors to install the carpets and floors they sell by somehow consigning these jobs to them. Pros: null Cons: null more

They have remnants for sale for dirt cheap if you have a small area to carpet. They also have tile, linoleum and wood flooring for sale. RLCO's carpet installs were fine. The gentlemen who did the install were professional, helpful and cheerful. I would recommend their carpet install more

I got new carpet for my whole upstairs, the guys doing the instulation are very fast and timely, but when they came in with the new carpet it was the wrong color. They kept in contact very well throughout the process of fixing the mistake which was caused by the warehouse mislabeling the roll. I am very pleased with the outcome and they compensated me faily for the inconvenience. Also I gotta say the sailsman was way better than sail on carpet. more

The installers were terrific. They arrived on time to the minute, moved heavy furniture expertly, vacuumed and swept up any mess. The carpet looks great and the price was what I wanted to spend. They are so professional and nice I would gladly give them five stars more

Needed a carpet for kids' room, but it needed to be cut in a certain way. We drew a diagram of exactly what we needed. When they transcribed the drawing, they did it wrong, so the carpet wasn't cut correctly. Their "professional" service guy finally came out days after we kept calling. He said we drew it wrong; we said you transcribed the drawing wrong. Well, here we are 3 weeks later; they never returned phone calls. Finally, after days of calling, someone finally told us that there was nothing they could do. So, here we are, hundreds of dollars later, with a carpet that's cut wrong; of course, they did offer to cut even more of it off, so now it will be too small for the room. Absolute worst buying/customer service experience ever. We are thinking of taking them to small claims court just for the principle of it. A rating of 1 star is too high. more

This has been the worst expierence ever! we needed basement carpet, hardwood floor, tile bathroom, and tile fireplace done. so far it has been over a month and only the basement carpet is done! they keep switching the contractors and cancelling appointments, they have come to measure the same things about 3 times, and keep forgetting to have us sign papers so they have to cancel the day that it is supposed to be done! we ended up cancelling the hardwood floor because they decided after telling us to go buy more of the wood we have now, that we actually needed to buy their wood. So now we are waiting for the tile to be done and everytime we talk to someone they change the appointment! One person tells us one day and another person tells us a different day. nobody knows what they are doing and nobody communicated with eachother over there. On top of all this they kept asking us for downpayments and THEN they would reschedule. This should have been done a month ago. This was the webster store so maybe others are better but we will NEVER be coming here again and do NOT reccomend it to anyone. They are more worried about getting their money then making their customers happy. Once they get their money they will screw you over. dont go here. more

I had flooring/tile recently put down in my home & it looks just like hardwoods, but it's tile! I Never knew it was possible! Thank you Rochester Linoleum Carpet One for helping me with this! Now my dogs can run free through-out my home with NO WORRIES!! How GREAT is THAT?! Also, I should mention the installment crew, they were so neat, and they made everything so easy for me. My experience with Rochester Linoleum Carpet One was topnotch from start to finish. We knew going into the meeting that we wanted to install an Amtico vinyl tile for our kitchen remodel. My husband contacted Amtico for a list of their certified installers and Rochester Linoleum Carpet One's number came up again and again. The morning of the installation, the installers showed up on time and were very pleasant, professional and helpful. They did an absolutely beautiful job with the installation and I am thrilled with the results. There was a mistake, at first they communicated very well and were helpful but this quickly went away, they ripped out my carpet left the nail strips exposed furniture in disarray, and still no carpet, it's been over a week and no carpet.
