Excellent customer service! I came in with some tragic looking hair from a previous stylist and left with a great cut and style....and a new hairdresser! Javiel did a wonderful job! Staff was very friendly! more

Loving my hair 5/14/2007

Late last year, I decided I needed to do something with my wild curly hair. I had read about thermal reconditioning, but never thought it would be a reality for me due to the cost. I did my research and scheduled 3 consultations at 3 different salons. I had a good feeling after talking to Sonja, even though I still had one more consultation. In January, I had thermal reconditioning done by Sonja. Even though she was not the lowest price I received, she took the time to discuss the process and my hair with me extensively during my free consultation which was important to me since this was a big step and sort of an investment for me. The process took all day, and everyone in the salon throughout the day talked to me and made me feel right at home! Sonja even called me a couple of weeks after to see how my hair was working out. Since then I have been back for a trim, and immediately scheduled my next appointment. I love my new straight hair and will continue going to Robert Severo' s Signature Salon & Spa. more

Very Pleased! 5/8/2007

I just moved to Orlando two months ago and was searching for a salon. I read the reviews about Robert Severo Salon and was scheduled with Andrea this past Saturday. I went with a short bob between Victoria Beckhem and Jenny McCarthy's bob. I was blonde and wanted to go back to my natural brunette color. Andrea did a great job! The color is a little darker than I wanted but I know it will lighten. I got what I wanted brunette, right! I absolutly love my cut! Andrea was very patient in going over what I wanted and telling me prices up front so there was no shock factor at the register. She took her time and made sure that I was happy with the result instead of rushing me out with the sorry you don't like it , live with it attitude. I will be back! more

The best place to lay your head and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!! 5/3/2007

I came by accident to a salon spa that a friends had slipped and cut her foot and had come in to ask for a bandage. She had told me the story at the same time I lost my hair person and was looking for another. The first experience in I was hooked! These people not only can do hair-they actually care!!!! This place is my HAVEN! I have now been coming here for four years or more and I will NEVER go anywhere else!!! I now have told numerous patients of mine and they are as fired up as me! Above and Beyond!!!!!!! Excellent Service!!!!!! 4/30/2007

I was visiting from out of town and was referred to the Robert Severo Salon. From the moment I walk through the door until the time I left; I found the staff and the owners Sonja and Robert to be very professional and personable; making feel like if known them for years! The staff was extermely interactive in coversasation, ideas and exemely knowlegable. The services provided were also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Robert Severo Salon to everyone and I look forward to visiting them next time I am in Florida. I just wish I could fly to Florida every 6-8 week to make them my personal salon. more

Best salon I've ever been to! Everyone is a professional and the atmosphere is relaxed. 4/28/2007

I researched this salon before going for my first thermal reconditioning one year ago and have not been disappointed. My hair has never looked better nor been in better condition. I chose to switch salons and now go to the Robert Severo Salon every five weeks (driving 100 miles round-trip). Sonya now does my cut, color and thermal reconditioning tough-ups. The entire staff is professional, courteous and knows the Paul Mitchell line of products they carry. Thanks, Sonya, Robert, Julie and your entire staff for taking care of me! Great salon! I have been a client for many years of Sonya's. and i would highly recommed this salon to everyone. all the bad reviews you may have read on this page, i say were wrote by ex-employess not unhappy customers. I have known Sonya for many years and she is a 15 year senior educator for Paul Mitchell and has taught at many schools and comes high recommend by lots of people. you should do your self a favor and visit this salon before you read stuff posted on this site. i have always got awesome hair and nails by Sonya and would never go anywhere else. so to all you people out there visit this salon and see for yourself it the best salon in this city and on the planet. I have been there when so many people come in with there hair fried out and Sonya makes them look awesome and they leave so happy. i have never heard anyone ever complain about their hair.and Sonya would never put blond highlights in black hair even if the cleint wanted them.she would talk them out of it. i know my sister did that to her hair and fried it and i ask her for help and she told me to tell her how to fix it and my sister now looks great thanks to Sonya.Sonya is the best and always will be. so if you dont like her work you must be blind or your not use to quality and style. Amazing Salon!!! 4/25/2007

I have been a devoted client of Robert Severo Salon for 3 yrs and I finally found a salon Like No Other!! I was involved in the hair industry as a teen working hair shows and meeting top stylists in the country and after moving to Florida from California my biggest disappointment was not finding a Trusted Stylist. My hair was botched, bleached, and stripped and needed some serious restoration! I finally was lead to my ""Hair Savior"" Sonja! Her talent is endless and she has her own artistic edge! I get so many positive comments about my hair I feel like a celebrity! and I'm always asked about My salon. The entire staff is Fun and Fabulous! and I get that sense of ""family' from the salon environment. The minute I walk in the door I feel Special! If you think you can't afford this salon's services Ask For A Raise! Your results Are Priceless!! Pros: Service, Skills, Environment! more

This salon is over-rated and horrible. Lots of sales pressure and sloppy job. I asked for lowlights and the owner (woman) gave me blonde highlights!!!!!!! too expensive and i will NEVER Go back. Whoever reads this avoid getting your hair done here. Pros: uhh! Cons: price, service, sloppy job more

Bad Haircut, Outrageous Prices 4/22/2007

I went to this salon based on all the positive feedback I read on this site. I was greatly disapoointed. the stylist cut my hair too short and she did not even pick up the hairdryer to style it. I also felt pressured to buy this leave in conditioner that is now sitting on a shelf unused beacuse after I read the ingredients it has a lot of alcohol in it. At the end of the day, I ended up spending a lot of money for this horrible haircut when I could have achieved better results at any other salon for a fraction of the cost. Cons: Too expensive more

Love my hair 4/5/2007

I absolutely love my hair after getting it done at Robert Severo. My highlights and cut are beautiful, and I've always said paying a lot to have beautiful hair is worth it, but the past 3 times I've been there, I've had to spend $260 and I just simply can't pay that much. If you don't mind spending the money, I would definitely recommend going there and I truely believe Javiel is a hair genius. Maybe when I get a raise at my job, I'll start coming back :-). THE BEST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! 4/3/2007

When I found Robert Severo's I was looking for a salon I felt great to go to and even better coming out, and I found all of this at this salon. I am a business owner myself and know what to look for when I frequent a business, and Robert Severo has a great salon. I find it amazing to see how well the stylists and everyone else work so great together, this is important to me because I need a good atmosphere- NO chaos As a regular NOW of Robert Severo's I sometimes find it amazing to see how well everybody keeps it together, since winning the City Search award for #1 Salon. Here are a few points to remember before you vist Robert Severo's. 1. The Stylist are not plasic surgeons. 2. Just remember that less than 10% of the public looks like a model and if you don't YOU MIGHT NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE (your Hair will) but not the face or the body (it's also not a Gym) one person wrote 'I look like a Troll' - this seems like a prerequisite, NOT something a haircut can give you -- They can only work with what you have. They are hairdressers, not dieticians, marriage counselors (getting a style will not save your marriage) but they will listen. Magicians they are not - remember no wands, no tricks. 3.If you don't use the products that they use on your hair to get that look you won't LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE! As for me, just beautiful hair again and again. I love everybody at Robert Severo's but I don't need to tell them that, they already feel good about themselves inside, and it show though their work. Horrible results, very expensive 4/1/2007

I went to this salon for a hair cut and finish. I showed the 'stylist' a picture of this medium length haircut and style that I was looking for. She went on to chop up my hair very short and did not style it. She just let my hair air dry. When I walked out of the salon I looked like a TROLL. When I got home, my husband looked in disbelief and asked: What happened to you, did you get caught in a windstorm? This has been the worst experience; I paid over $70 for a haircut and I did not get my hair styled or colored or anything. They just chopped it up. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. CALLING ALL BLONDES 3/21/2007

If you are TIRED of the ""STREAK"" jobs you've been getting at OTHER Salons -- Look no further!! ROBERT SEVERO SIGNATURE SALON is undoubtably the GREATEST when it comes to COLOR, HIGHLIGHTS & STYLE!! Having moved to the Orlando area some time ago I began Searching for a salon & stylist who could at least come Close to getting it Right -- I tried several salons all over Orlando and was about to conceed when I found Robert Severo Salon. My stylist, JAVIEL, is an absolute HAIR GENIUS!!! He was able to Not Only Correct the Mistakes of the other stylists, but make My Hair Look Better than it ever has!! (Like it did when I was a kid on the beach) INCREDIBLE!! I had no problem at all communicating the cut I wanted and it was RIGHT the FIRST TIME!!! The Staff and Management made me feel like a VIP. They also helped me find the Right Hair care Products for Me -- they didn't just try to pressure me into buying a bottle of this and two bottles of that. I have been back again and again and it only gets better! I can't say enough about the quality of service I have recieved and the satisfaction of Now having Hair that makes Me look like I just ""Stepped Out Of A Magazine"". Nothing special here 3/15/2007

This salon is completely overrated. I went in looking for a fresh new style and when I walked out, all I had was puffy hair and a hole in my wallet. The services were very overpriced and I think I looked better when I walked into the salon. I paid over $80 for a haircut and now my hair is very frizzy and unmanageable. best salon and stylist 3/12/2007

I had been going to my stylist for seven years, but I am moving to the orlando/ucf area and decided to try robert severo salon. I can't rave enough about what great service, color, cut and pedicure I recieved. Javiel is who I had my appointment with and he was the best. he made sure I felt comfortable and that I knew everything he was going. I think he realized how nervous I was to try a new place. but I have to say I have found my salon no more searching. my hair looks great. I am looking forward to trying some of their other services. thankyou javiel you are wonderful i'm looking forward to working to having you work on my hair, and thank you robert severo for having such a great establishment. Great color specialist, not crowded, very nice staff 3/11/2007

I've had professional color applied several times before but never with such great results. I had a specific color in mind and brought an example with me. Andrea was not only able to come close, but matched the color exactly! I spent quite a bit more than I intended but am extremely happy. I will be a return customer. more

Relaxed environment, Great service, and Honest advice made me more than comfortable with a relatively new experience... 3/8/2007

Jessica greeted me and offered a beverage before discussing my visit. She offered some advice which seemed, at the time, to be a little more than what I had in mind. Her manor was professional and confident and I decided to follow her advice. I've never had color applied to my hair and was a bit nervious about the outcome. Afterward I was really pleased with the outcome and recieved many complements on returning to work. Many coworkers did not know what had been done but commented on how good my hair looked. I've been back and will go again! Pros: easy parking, easy to find, upbeat atmosphere, friendly staff, no pressure and good advice more

BEST WAX I have ever had. I found Robert Severo through a waxing chat room. Lori did my wax and made me feel very relaxed which is what I needed (I was a little shy and nervous at first) but it went great. Great job, I will be back. Pros: Relaxing, Parking, Service more

Worst color and cut 2/28/2007

I went for color and cut and the colorist burned my hair for the first time ever in 20 yrs of getting color, botched the cut and my husband got a bowl cut from someone who worked at Starbucks 10 months ago. more
