OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE, MY COLOR IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 11/20/2009

I have been going to Robert Severo's for about 9 years now, and still look forward to going there. Everyone is very friendly, and would do anything for you. My color is absolutely gorgeous every time and with new cuts to keep me updated and a shampoo that will make you smoke after it's done (even if you don't) I will not go any place else. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST THERMAL RECONDITIONING 11/15/2009

Sonya is one of the best, I had my Thermal Reconditioning done at Robert Severo's , being a transplant to Orlando I was not sure were to go and then I heard about Sonja and her work. The results are unbelievable. I had very curly hair that was dry and damaged, now I am getting compliments, and love my hair! My hair is straight, shiny and soft. If you are looking to get your hair done this is the place and Sonya is your person, Sonja did a great job. I would recommend her to anyone. My TR. It was absolutely great. Best In Orlando 11/11/2009

Sonja is absolutely the best colorist I have been to in years. She was able to correct a prior salon's mistakes and has restored my faith in the industry again! She has an excellent eye and knows exactly what colors and type of haircut best suits you. The entire staff is amazing and always friendly and professional. Best corrective color & cut 10/20/2009

After doing my research and reading consistent rave reviews about the service and staff I decided to schedule an appointment with Sonja. My problem was complex, I am a 50 year old woman. After bleaching my long hair blonde for many years I had decided to color my hair back to a medium brown shade myself. Disaster. The lower half of my hair turned a weird greenish gray, and the upper half was a lighter brown with a brassy cast to it. I decided to start growing it out to its natural color, to my surprise the new growth was dark brown with about 25 percent gray. When I went into the salon I was greeted by the owner. Sonja?s consultation was amazing. She listened and acknowledged all of my concerns including the fact that I did not want to cut all my hair off & that I needed to be able to touch up the roots myself. She took into account my skin color, eye color and lifestyle. Then she gave me her recommendation. Somehow I trusted her completely and boy does she know her stuff. When I left the salon I had a beautiful natural healthy multi faceted shade of neutral blonde. The cut was phenomenal. I look at least 10 years younger. I have been to many top stylists in my life but trust me, if you want the best, and do not want to risk someone screwing up your hair. Sonja is an expert with color. best haircut and color I've had 8/4/2009

My hair has not looked this good since I was in my early 20's. This haircut has made my hair look and feel fuller and the color is incredible. I came in with HORRIBLE, over processed, amateaur highlights from another ""upscale"" salon and walked out of this salon with beautiful, glistening blonde hair. Also, ask them to suggest product and use it!! I got a haircut, color, glaze and all new products (I 'm a faithful Paul Mitchell convert) and I'm telling you it is so worth it. You are in excellent hands with these professional, caring individuals. I love you all!! Can't wait to see you for my next session (did I mention they provide counseling for those of us having mini breakdowns related to bad hair experiences?). Just moved here from NY and have to say, Sonja is my new favorite hair guru and I better not have trouble getting an appointment!! Almost afraid to tell people where I got my hair done for fear I'll have to wait in line for services. You guys are the best! Awesome Salon 7/18/2009

I went in to Robert Severo today very apprehensive because I knew the color of my hair was an absolute mess. I had waited months to get it redone/fixed because I was embarrassed and honestly thought it was almost beyond repair. My stylist, Will, came to my rescue though! He gave my color the 180 it needed and gave me the perfect cut too. He took his time (and it took a LONG time) and did a fantastic job- and the rest of staff was very friendly and attentive as well. I would recommend this salon to anyone, especially someone who is in need of corrective color. more

Incredible Customer Service! 7/5/2009

They were able to fit me in on July 4th and fix a very bad color job done at another salon. Not only did they get the color right but I walked out with the best hairstyle I've ever had!!! Amazing!!! But they also have the nicest staff that I've every met - everyone was so kind, and went out of their way to make me feel special. Thanks to city search for finding this fantastic salon for me. IMPRESSIVE SERVICE 6/27/2009

Wow...I cannot say enough about Robert Severo and the salon. I had my first microdermabrasion and from the time I scheduled an appointment to the time I left, I was impressed. Mr. Severo himself catered to me and soothed any fears over the process. I was pressed for time yet he didn't skip a step and assured me he could get me out in the alotted time. I told Mr. Severo I was not able to relax if I was supposed to and we could skip that step but during the hour I was there and the nice surrounding/music everything was great. I can't wait to try the other services available at this salon and despite the Winter Park address, it is not ""ridiculously overpriced"" yet it is posh and upscale. The attention to detail and Mr. Severo stating so many times, ""I'm here for you...it's whatever you want"" made me feel at ease as well as his calming and soothing voice. This salon is soooooo much better than other ""Winter Park"" salons with AAA service, class and panache! Go try it....so worth it and not at all intimidating as some salons emanate. Pros: Great microdermabrasion experience Cons: NO DRAWBACKS! This salon caters to YOUR NEEDS more

From the moment that I called to come in, to the time I left was one of the best times that I had in a salon in a long time, I was treated like a person and cared after. Great place for hair color and unrushed care.. 6/17/2009

Found Sonia from a a previous review on this page and wanted to add my person experience. Having had lots of hair ""colorists"" before and ruined ends, breakage etc. I did not want to continue with typical stylists who seem to always want to push there products and CUT hair. My stylist from California gave me his color formula and Sonia followed it will care and no other client but me was given her full care.. SHe took almost 4 hours to make my hair just beautiful with natural color all the way to the roots... I am very happy and will continue to drive over an hour to her.. Pros: Went over 65 miles for Sonia Cons: Far away but worth the drive more

Very Unprofessional!!! 5/7/2009

I went here because of all the reviews and was highly disappointed... First when I called for an appointment the lady making the appointments seemed so uninterested in helping me or booking an appointment. Then when I got there I was told I would have the ""hair color specialist"" but no I got 2 new girls and only 1 knew how to do color and the other only knew how to cut... Needless to say it took 5 hours to do my hair. And when I told them I had to be out at a certain time they would take their sweet time and when I told them how I wanted my hair they obviously didn't listen because they kept asking how I wanted it cut and I know I said I wanted dark highlights and I ended up with red. Seriously don't waste your time or money here!!! Cons: Unprofessional, don't listen, don't seem to really care more

Best Hair Salon in Orlando 4/26/2009

I went to Sonja with hair that had been severly damaged by a stylist at a high-priced salon. It was so bad I was scared to do anything but my roots were showing and it needed color. Sonja spent a lot of time studying my hair and came up with a solution that not only looks great but did not cause any breakage whatsoever. She spent a great amount of time to take special care of my hair and never did I feel rushed in any way. I will most definitely be going to her from now on and will recommend her to my friends.
