Unfortunately, my experience with Roadrunner Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration wasn't a good one. They sent a gentleman that was ill prepared and didn't have the necessary equipment to do the job. Before he came, I told him what to expect and when he came and took a look at the problem, he told me he had to go all the way back to Santa Fe, which is 60 miles away, to get some parts that he didn't bring.
This was shocking to me because there are several stores in the area that have the parts that he needed, but he told me he had to go back to his shop. He also expected me to pay for him to drive back and forth from Santa Fe to Albuquerque so he could get his parts. I thought this was very unprofessional and not fair since he was the one who didn't bring the correct parts to fix my plumbing. After driving back and forth, he finally had the right parts and repaired the job but I also had multiple jobs that he needed to fix since I'm the apartment manager and he told me he would have to drive back to Santa Fe to get the parts to fix our washer. I decided to go with someone else in the area because I didn't want to deal with this again. I was charged $490 for this one specific job and I was not happy at all.
The other company came to repair my washer and the other jobs I needed them to do and he finished in ten minutes! I told him about the previous situation and he went ahead and looked at the plumbing work that the person did and told me that it wasn't up to code and that he did it wrong. He offered to repair this person's mistakes without charge and my bill with this other company came out to $98, they did way more work than the person at Roadrunner.
I talked with the business owner at Roadrunner and they apologized, but it took them several calls to get back to me. As a business owner, I understand how hard it is to manage a business, but this person they sent was inexperienced and unprofessional. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
