A big THANK YOU to you and your staff for the excellent treatment I received. I appreciate you personally taking time from other patients to help get me into a more relaxed frame of mind. And despite my extreme anxiety, your assistants and all your staff were sympathetic, patient and kind. They worked hard to make me comfortable and feel less embarrassed. I was truly fortunate to be treated by such professionals. Both my husband and I look forward to many years of receiving dental care from you and your staff. more

I had always been terrified of the dentist. This was my first visit in 2 years. Whenever I have visited the dentist before, pain was always an issue. Not this time! When I found out that I had to have 2 crowns I thought I was going to ?freak out?. Dr. Rice and her staff have been excellent. I no longer need valium or nitrous oxide. Due to my wonderful experience I would definitely follow up every 6 months which I hadn?t done in 10 years! I am new to the area and would advise those who have a fear of the dentist to give Dr. Rice a try. more

I came in terrified of going to the dentist and had not been in for over 10 years. The staffs are gentle, caring and non-judgemental. I am very pleased with all the work that has been done. more

I came to Dr. Rice after breaking a tooth. She and her staff went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable during each procedure. Any questions or concerns I had were always addressed. Overall my experience was as pleasant as could be. more

Dr. Rice and her staff found the problem, fixed them and were very kind along the way. They always made me feel comfortable. I look forward to having Dr. Rice and her staffs assist me with all I need in the future. Thank you. more

For 30 years I have suffered from headaches when I wake up. Upon awakening I would realize my temples were tense and throbbing or realize there was a stabbing pain in my eyes. Frequently these morning headaches would result in a migraine headache. Sometimes they would disappear after an hour or two but I knew the next morning it would happen all over again. I have had MRIs, CAT scans, neurological workups and many different medications. None had made any long term changes. After talking with Dr. Rice she suggested the tension in my temple and the pain in my eye could be related to my grinding my teeth at night. more

When I moved to the Cool Springs area I knew I had to find a dentist that I would be comfortable with. I discovered Dr. Rice?s office through an advertisement that had a catchy slogan that was music to my ears, ?with a woman?s touch? and I thought I would try them. Wow, I was impressed with their office, equipment and staff. I had not been to a dentist in 2 years and I thought I would have to go through a lot. But the staff really took care of my mouth, gums and cavities. I love the dentist of my choice, Dr. Kellye Rice! Thanks for a great experience. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/1/2012

I have been a patient with Dr. Rice for 24 years, and am extremely happy with her services. She is an excellent dentist, and extremely knowledgeable in her field. Every time I come in, she remembers me and my family. Even when I come in for just a cleaning, she checks my mouth personally to make sure everything is healthy. Dr. Rice is very focused on preventing things like gum disease and cavities, which is important to me-- I look for doctors and healthcare practitioners that want me to stay healthy! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/11/2012

Dr. Rice is a VERY caring person and truly wants the best for her patients and her staff. Everyone at this office has a purpose to help others and they are all very professional and friendly. As for the comments about ""sales techniques"" I can understand how people can mistake passion for pressure. Going to the dentist can be an uncomfortable situation- throw pain, fear and the idea of parting with money into the mix-It's no wonder. Not to mention I bet most of these people who wrote these reviews probably hadn't taken care of their teeth and they felt guilty. I guess what I am trying to say is, take these reviews with a grain of salt. Dr. Rice has been a well respected pillar in this community for over 26 years for a reason. more

STAY AWAY 2/1/2012

I cannot stress how important I believe it is to NOT use Kellye Rice for your dentistry needs. I can tell you that their ""sales techniques"" include pressuring people into making appointments, knowing little to no information about insurance, and telling each patient that they accept all types of insurance (leaving out the fact that they do not actually work with all types of insurance). They do not treat patients with kindess, respect, or worth- they are simply of monetary value to them. I witnessed first hand the bath mouthing that goes on in that office about patients, especially those with concerns about their treatments. I would also urge you to thoroughly read the ""positive"" comments on here, and would be willing to bet that they were left by members of her staff. Any business should be based in the trust and support of their community and customers. Kellye Rice's service fail every aspect of that. more

Stay away! More of a scammer than a Dentist 9/8/2011

My then fiancee, now wife, had a dental procedure done several years ago. We were led to believe by the staff there that they only performed procedures after payment had been made in full. I dutifully wrote out a check for $1400.00+ based on this assurance, and was temporarily pleased as the procedure was completed. Or so I thought. We then received a letter indicating an additional $400+ was due and rescheduling a follow up appointment that we were led to believe was part of the overall procedure. After never completing the work paid for, they then sent us to collections. Thats right folks, sent to collections for work they NEVER completed AFTER being told they don't perform procedures unless they receive payment in full up front. Unless you are a collossally stupid person, with an endless supply of money, I would highly recommend you avoid this dentist as she and her staff are more practiced in thievery and extraction of your wallet than dentistry and extraction of your teeth. more

DO NOT see this dentist unless you want to waste your money 8/16/2011

Stay away from this dentist! I had the exact same experience as ERandles! I thought they were very friendly at first. I was told they accepted my insurance and was told several times that I had paid in full ($1100). Then a couple of months later I received a bill for another $1000! I saw another dentist and he said nothing was wrong with my gums. My husband was also given the $200 toothbrush and never told he was being charged for it because they used the $200 credit I had already paid the day before. I asked several times about the amount owed and everytime I was told something different and lied to. more

Not Recommended Unless You Have Money to Waste 4/19/2011

I went to Dr. Rice a few years ago. At first, I thought she was great. The people were super friendly and it seemed like they truly cared about my teeth. Then the expensive part started. I was urged to buy an expensive toothbrush. According to Dr. Rice, my gums were in bad shape (though I never had any problems before). They then did a ""deep cleaning"" on my teeth for a lovely couple thousand. After that, they started recommending I come every three months to get my teeth cleaned. I started questioning them at this point, especially since my insurance would only pay for an exam every six months. I stopped going to Dr. Rice and then found Dr. William Cox on Seaboard lane. When I mentioned what I had had done to my teeth, they weren't surprised who I had been to and said she has a lot of her clients get a lot of extra work done that they don't need. I would not recommend going to Dr. Rice unless you just have money to throw away. more
