Before I started working in the dental field and my employment with Dr. Rice, I was not aware if the improvements that could be done to enhance my smile. I broke my two front teeth in grade school and had some sort of restoration on them since. They were not always something I was proud of so I hid my smile. I was so happy to get porcelain crowns shortly before I started high school. I didn’t realize how ugly they were until I joined the dental profession. Since then, I longed to straighten my teeth and get more natural looking crowns on my two front teeth. When I started working here I received a new patient exam and treatment recommendations from Dr. Rice that included just that. The process didn’t happen overnight but, eventually, my smile has transformed. After 2 years in braces by Dr. Kemp I was finally able to replace those old crowns with beautiful, all porcelain works of arts. more

I use not to smile all that much. Then one day, I heard about teeth bonding. I asked my mom if I could get the gap in the front of my teeth bonded and at first she said no but after a while, and me asking a hundred times she changed her mind. I was so excited! When I went into the dentist office, the day I was going to get my bonding, I knew I was going to come out with a great smile. I thought at first that it was going to hurt, but I really didn’t feel a thing. After about an hour or so sitting in that chair I was finished. When the dentist gave me the mirror so that I could see my new smile, I felt like jumping out of my seat with joy. I loved it, and every since I have given every one the biggest smile without hesitation. Thank you so much Dr. Rice. more

What a joy it is to get up every morning and skip procedure of inserting my upper partial before eating breakfast! After eating, no matter where I was, I always had to excuse myself and rinse my partial because food would get lodged. I have even been known to misplace it on a few occasions.\r Dr. Rice-because of her creative ability to think outside the box has solved one of my problems. After much deliberation and counseling, we decided to do a bridge to cover the gaps. They fit perfectly and feel so natural. Now, eating is a restored pleasure, my speech is better, smile more natural and best of all, I don’t have all that hardware in my mouth. more

I have been lucky to have had skilled and caring dentist for most of my adult life... Kellye Rice is definitely among them. She and her staff are always concerned about comfort and will make sure I have enough Novocaine. I am glad she also incorporates the “happy gas” to relax me as I am usually tense during long procedures. Keep up the good work. more

I have a deep and abiding fear of dental work but wanted my teeth to be whiter especially since I have a grey hair, because I know Dr. Rice and knew that she would make sure I was comfortable. I came in for regular cleaning and was told there was a crack in my root. I never felt anything but I’m very glad Dr. Rice and her staff found this early. A few weeks later, I came in and was fitted for a crown. Everything has been a smooth, but fast fix. I am very thankful for the staff to help me out. more

This is the first time in 35 years of going to a dentist that I feel comfortable. I have never really enjoyed the dentist before. I still don't enjoy it but now I don't mind coming! Dr. Rice and her staff are very friendly and honest with you every step of the way. I would recommend Dr. Rice to anybody. more

I was surprised at how quickly my filling was done using the new laser technology. I had no pain and didn’t have to go through the process of a shot, numbness, drilling, etc. This is the way I wish dental visits had been many years ago. I had a little polishing, there was a little water and tapping and I was done! I’m so glad this is now available. more

One week before I was scheduled to leave for vacation, a front, upper tooth crumbled. I had a gaping hole in my smile and nothing on the little tooth that was left from the veneer procedure. By the way it was an old veneer done in Kansas; I called this office and was given an appointment immediately. Dr. Rice and Ann worked through their lunch hour to repair the tooth and place a temporary crown. The temporary crown looked great and allowed me to go on a vacation without any problems. Thank you Dr. Rice and her staff. more
