I went to Dr. Rice a few years ago. At first, I thought she was great. The people were super friendly and it seemed like they truly cared about my teeth. Then the expensive part started. I was urged to buy an expensive toothbrush. According to Dr. Rice, my gums were in bad shape (though I never had any problems before). They then did a ""deep cleaning"" on my teeth for a lovely couple thousand. After that, they started recommending I come every three months to get my teeth cleaned. I started questioning them at this point, especially since my insurance would only pay for an exam every six months. I stopped going to Dr. Rice and then found Dr. William Cox on Seaboard lane. When I mentioned what I had had done to my teeth, they weren't surprised who I had been to and said she has a lot of her clients get a lot of extra work done that they don't need. I would not recommend going to Dr. Rice unless you just have money to throw away.
